Last February, Trump declared a national emergency in a bid to fund the wall without congressional approval. The administration said a court decision was needed quickly because it needs to spend the money before the end of September, when the federal government’s fiscal year ends.

We Build the Wall broke ground in New Mexico, on a half mile stretch of private wall that connects two 21-mile sections of existing fencing to fill a gap that allowed drug and human smuggling. The estimated cost was between $6 to $8 million.

A local resident said that Mexican cartel members have threatened her family. Her husband had to use a gun to fend off a dozen illegals entering her property heading for the house. She says it is unsafe to go outside without a gun and her neighbors are afraid to call Border Patrol due to threats by drug smugglers.

This is an extension of the growing trend to use private businesses and economic measures to eliminate freedom-of-speech in America. Shadow banning, withdrawal of advertising, and cancellation of Internet accounts is now joined by denial-of-services at the local level.

President Trump signed a spending bill that includes measures that makes it impossible to deport illegal aliens who have relatives, sponsors, or even fiends of unaccompanied alien children, which is chain migration on steroids.

Representative Mo Brooks (R-AL) says the spending deal will lead to an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens because the bill stops illegal aliens from being deported and makes sure that newly arrived border crossers are resettled in the US.

Trump signed a bill to reopen the government for 3 weeks and says he may shut it down again or might use emergency powers if a deal is not reached on a border wall. Democrat Senator, Chuck Schumer, says, if Trump declares an emergency to build the wall, it will be challenged in court.

Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said she is canceling President Trump's State-of-the-Union address until the government is reopened. Trump countered by denying military air transportation for her public-relations trip to Brussels and Afghanistan, leaving her only the option of flying commercial.

An activist group stepped over the wall surrounding Nancy Pelosi’s California mansion and demanded access to her home. A small group of Guatemalans put up a tent with the word 'immorality' printed on it and attached photos of people who have been murdered by illegal aliens.
