In the first hour of Tuesday night Ochelli Effect Chuck and the author of “The War State” Mike Swanson wander through the impressions gathered by two people far outside the craze that is currently Bitcoin Mania. How is this current trend like other trends in the past? How is it something completely different? this is just the opener of the conversation that might be a new trend in presentations on a Tuesday.

I joined good friend Ed Opperman to discuss some of the latest so called revelations regarding Jeffrey Epstein and his sexual trafficking enterprise. I talk about the numerous armchair investigators that continually repackage old material as breaking news when it comes to this case. I go into detail about Claude Taylor, a low level Clinton administration employee, and his claims about both Trump and Epstein. Ed and I talk about the problems with Taylor’s story and his bizarre background.

In the first hour I am joined by my good friend Lizzy to discuss her recent work in Palestine. Lizzy just returned from the town of Beit Sahour where she was teaching music to child refugees. We talk about Her experiences in actually traveling to Palestine from the US and some of the bizarre realities of this process. I also share some of my own personal experience traveling to Palestine and my trouble when leaving Israel. We then move onto the issue of Islamophobia and discuss the realities of it and how it can subconsciously manifest itself.

Stephen and Joyce Singular join me in the first hour for a discussion of the genre bending documentary Casting JonBenet. Produced by Netflix and directed by Kitty Green, the film employs a novel approach to true crime documentaries: using an open casting call Green interviews Boulder area actors as they prepare for the roles of John and Patsy Ramesy and other major figures in the case, interspersed with some reenactments, and their own theories as to who committed the crime. We begin by discussing our overall feelings of the film and the merits and disappointments of this unique approach.

Frequent guest Robbie Martin joins us for an in-depth discussion of Trump, alt-right, Mike Cernovich and more. We begin by discussing Trump’s completion of the “magical” hundred days in office. Robbie and I talk about the media strategy that Trump and his team employed for these first hundred days in the White House. We look at how Trump has reversed positions on nearly all of his campaign promises and the timing of this coinciding with the end of the hundred days.

Ed Opperman joins me in the first hour to discuss some of the latest news regarding the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell cases. Ed and talk about Mike Cernovich and his recent attempts to unseal Ghislane Maxwell’s motion for summary judgment. We discuss how Alan Dershowitz has recently submitted a memorandum in full support of Cernovich. Ed and I talk about how bizarre it is for a lawyer of Dershowitz’s stature to attach himself to someone as unhinged as Cernovich.
