Republican War on Women

The Committee to Protect Journalists is based in New York but the bulk of its work is usually in tyrannical and oppressive regimes in backward parts of the world-- Russia, Bangladesh, Mexico, Iran, Nigeria, Ethiopia, China, Pakistan... But not this week. If you've been listening to Trump's increasingly violent tirades against the media at his hate rallies filled with deplorables, you may have noticed he's riling up his low IQ fascist-embracing supporters.

Doral is a city in Miami-Dade County about a mile from Miami International Airport and it's in the heart of the 25th congressional district. Over 50,000 people live there, many of them Venezuelan immigrants. In fact, the city is sometimes referred to as Doralzuela and there are more Venezuelan-Americans there than in any other city in the country. Doral is 80% Hispanic and the mayor is from Venezuela.

The Trump-supporting clown who replaced Boehner as Speaker of the House was, as we all know, dedicated ideologue Paul Ryan. A bigger joke, Warren Davidson, replace Boehner as the Representative from Ohio's 8th congressional district. He introduced his first amendment to a bill-- an appropriations bill as it turns out-- Wednesday.

Trump doesn't respect women; we all know that. He's made it clear his entire life and has continued making it clear through his campaign.

Angie Craig should be a shoo-in for CongressHate Talk Radio host Jason Lewis, is the leading contender for the Republican nomination to replace retiring GOP reactionary, John Kline in the suburbs and exurbs south of St. Paul (MN-02). It's a swing district that Obama won-- albeit narrowly-- both times, and with a vaguely competent DCCC it would be in Democratic hands today.

Maybe when Trump looked at Fiorina's face and made the infamous and sexist remark, he wasn't talking about her being "ugly" per se, but about the twisted inner ugliness that was on display for the whole country during Wednesday night's CNN debate. DO LOOK AT THAT FACE-- it was twisted, contorted and misshapen in the same way Hitler's was when he was trying to manipulate large audiences.Fiorina was forcefully asserting that the blatant lies she was spouting were A Truth worth fighting for.

Clearly, Trump has crippled Jeb Bush and destroyed Rick Perry, Lindsey Graham and Chris Christie, and severely damaged Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Carly Fiorina and Scott Walker. Walker fans, though, insist, despite his sinking poll numbers in crucial Iowa-next-door and nationally, that he can come back.
