ROSHARON — Just 30 miles south of the urban epicenter of Houston, the scene around one of Texas’ oldest maximum-security prisons has a much more rustic quality.
(ZHE) With diplomatic relations between the US and Iran – a state Donald Trump has repeatedly accused of being a “state sponsor of terrorism” – already near rock bottom, things took another turn for the worse on Sunday, after a United States citizen accused of “infiltration” in Iran was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
(ANTIMEDIA) Kentucky — “I am not a creation of state/government, as such I am not within its jurisdiction.”
Those words were written by Samuel Girod in a document filed in a Kentucky federal court in June. Girod is an Amish farmer who was convicted in March of selling herbal health products that, as reported by the Lexington Herald-Leader on Friday, “were not adequately labeled as required by federal law.”
