(ANTIWAR) Saudi warplanes are adding to the ever-growing number of incidents of attacks on civilians fueling international disquiet this weekend, attacking a village in the northern Saada Province and killing 19 civilians, most of them children.
(MEE) Five Russian soldiers were confirmed dead on Monday after their helicopter was shot down over the Syrian province of Idlib, as rebel groups continue to advance against Syrian government forces in the city of Aleppo.
The Russian defence ministry said that an Mi-8 transport helicopter was “shot down from the ground after delivering humanitarian aid to Aleppo”.
(ANTIMEDIA) Darius Robinson, a 41-year-old Oklahoma father of seven, had his windpipes crushed and a bone in his throat broken by prison guards in April. The incident ultimately led to his death, but months later, the jailer responsible has still not been charged.
(ANTIWAR) The US-backed offensive in and around Manbij has been going on for two months, with only a part of the city and surrounding area ever captured. The failing offensive on the ground is being overshadowed however, by the US air campaign.
(ANTIWAR) US and coalition airstrikes against the northern Syrian villages of Tokhar and Hoshariyeh have killed at least 56 civilians, including 11 children, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Other groups claimed the civilian toll was as high as 90.

Multiple news agencies are reporting that ISIS leader and self-proclaimed Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed by a coalition airstrike, yet the Pentagon has not yet confirmed the reports.
One states that:
“Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed by coalition airstrikes on Raqqa on the fifth day of Ramadan,”
(ANTIWAR) According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, US airstrikes have killed at least 15 civilians over the past 24 hours in the area around Manbij, in northern Syria. Three children were said to have been among the slain.
The Saudi government has not commented.

The mysterious doctor deaths are getting even more concerning. Now a Canadian alternative health doctor has been found. Canadian doctor, Linnea Veinotte, was found dead just a few days before Christmas. Even the police report says that the place Veinotte and her family resided ‘was a safe place.’
Doctor Bradstreet’s death led this rash of strange ‘suicides,’ but the number of strange death circumstances – most of alternative doctors – seems to be growing. [1]
