Benjamin Netanyahu needs an intervention. And his own people need to undertake it. Hating Palestinians is one thing. Giving Hitler a pass is quite another.

 

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has attracted criticism for an incendiary speech in which he accused the Palestinian grand mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, of “inspiring the Holocaust”. Critics accuse Netanyahu of trivialising the Holocaust by attributing the impetus for Hitler’s plan to exterminate the Jews of Europe to the grand mufti.

Adolf Hitler appears to be as popular as ever in Germany, a new leftist film based on the best-selling book Er ist wieder da (“He is Back”) has inadvertently revealed.
The film, meant to mock the German leader, is based on a comedy book of the same name by Timur Vermes. In the book, published a few years ago, Hitler wakes up in a vacant lot in Berlin in the year 2011, with no memory of anything that happened after 1945.
