In the hospital, diagnosed with brain cancer, John McCain blasts Trump for halting weapons to Al Qaeda and ISIS

President Trump decided to end a disastrous Obama program to train, fund and arm jihadist terrorist (many of whom were Al Qaeda and ISIS fighters) to overthrow Assad.

JON HUNTSMAN: Trump’s peculiar choice for Ambassador to Russia

Donald Trump has just appointed Jon Huntsman to be the new United States Ambassador to Russia. On the fact of it, Huntsman is not a controversial choice. Having served as US Ambassador to China from 2009 to 2011 and US Ambassador to Singapore form 1992 to 1993, Huntsman is to be sure, something of a diplomatic veteran by US standards.

In 1667, the Treaty of Andrusovo affirmed Russian sovereignty over historic Russian lands that had been part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth since the 14th century. These areas were de-facto Russian ever since the Treaty of Pereyaslav, signed in 1654 as an alliance between local Cossacks and the government in Moscow.

EU continues to support Al Qaeda and ISIS. Places sanctions on 16 Syrian scientists

With it’s goal to overthrow Assad (and help the now feuding Qatar and Saudi Arabia build its energy pipeline through Damascus into Europe), falling apart in spectacular fashion, the regime in Brussels is left with nothing more than sanctions, in its petty effort to punish Assad for reclaiming the country he was elected to govern, and defeating the ISIS-Al Qaeda invaders.

Turkey’s Erdogan marks one year anniversary of failed coup

Turkey’s President Erdogan has marked the one year anniversary of a failed coup against his leadership.
Marking an attempted coup against one’s own government might be considered something of a bold or even risky public statement. While there is still no international consensus on who orchestrated the coup, the mid-level Turkish Army personnel who on the 15th of June, 2016, attempted to overthrow Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan almost certainly aimed to assassinate the Turkish President.

6 Americans who should be investigated for their Ukrainian ties

Incoming FBI Director Cristopher Wray has stated that he would be interested in investigating links between officials of the Ukrainian regime and the Hillary Clinton campaign.
With evidence mounting that high level officials in Kiev actively worked with the Clinton campaign to try and influence US voters, it is imperative that any future investigation isn’t whitewashed simply because Kiev’s tactics failed to win the election for Clinton.
