(ANTIMEDIA) The Trump administration recently launched a public survey on the White House’s website where participants can indicate which federal departments they believe should be eliminated.
While some survey options fall in line with the traditional Republican agenda, such as cutting the Department of Energy and the National Endowment for the Arts, others appear to flout the power of the Washington D.C., establishment. The CIA, FBI, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Pentagon, and National Security Council are also options.

On Wednesday a federal judge indefinitely extended a previously temporary restraining order against U.S. President Donald Trump’s so-called Muslim Ban executive order.
U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson turned his earlier temporary restraining order into a preliminary injunction as part of an ongoing lawsuit against Trump’s executive order banning immigration from six majority-Muslim countries.

A group of states renewed their effort on Monday to block President Donald Trump’s revised temporary ban on refugees and travelers from several Muslim-majority countries, arguing that his executive order is the same as the first one that was halted by federal courts.

(REPORT) — Hawaii filed the first legal challenge to President Donald Trump’s revised travel ban on Tuesday, asking a judge to temporarily block his executive order the day after it was signed.

After President Donald J. Trump’s previous visa suspension was blocked by federal courts, he has fulfilled his vow to overturn this by introducing a new Executive Order temporarily blocking travel to the US for residents of six Muslim-majority countries pending revision of visa procedures. The order halts the issuance of new US visas to citizens of Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen for the next 90 days.

Donald Trump’s first month in office has already left countless human rights organizations and activists reeling. The ACLU and a small army of lawyers have been working around the clock, pro bono, to fight an executive order that has targeted visa holders, green card holders and DREAMers. One would hope that things couldn’t get any worse in such a short span of time.
And yet, they have.

The Russian authorities have taken another step towards granting de facto recognition to the authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics in eastern Ukraine by formally recognising the legal validity of the documents they issue to their citizens.
The documents in question are things like driving licences, birth and marriage certificates, travel documents and the like.
