by Noah Sunday Thoughts:Bishop Talbert Swan's tweet (above) gives us yet another fine example of a disease called Republican Logic and how the typical Republican racist mind works. Swan's truth about their reasoning is as stark as it gets. I bet he got a ton of whining responses to his tweet from the Republican element in our society. They probably feel all abused.

See? Justin Amash isn't the only Republican standing up to Trump; he's just the only Republican in Congress standing up to Trump. Republicans For The Rule of Rule-- the 501 (c) (4) nonprofit group running that Fox TV ad above-- describes itself as "a group of life-long Republicans dedicated to defending the institutions of our republic and upholding the rule of law. We are fighting to make sure that the laws apply equally to everyone, from the average citizen to the president of the United States.

Five States have Legislative elections in 2019: Virginia, New Jersey, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Louisiana. All are important; however, only Virginia stands a reasonable shot to flip their Legislature’s majority from R to D, giving the Dems the right to the  redraw the state's congressional and state legislative boundaries and prevent another GOP gerrymander.
