As President Donald Trump faces criticism for blocking users on his Twitter account, people across the country say they, too, have been cut off by elected officials at all levels of government after voicing dissent on social media.

The Supreme Court’s decision Monday not to hear an excessive-force case drew a fiery dissent from two left-leaning justices, who say the lower courts should have let a jury decide instead of taking the word of a police officer over that of the man he shot.
In groups of people there are always bullies who feel entitled, for no particular reason, to want more than the rest and to dominate the others in complete disregard of the common good. Fortunately for convivial people, bullies tend to have the psychological subtlety of dominant male gorillas who beat loudly on their chests and fight over food and females. Therefore bullies often annihilate each other. The more serious social problems occur when they collaborate to gang up on others.
Editor’s Note: It looks like all those appeals to conscience and civil disobedience that I heard during the Vietnam War, when laws were being broken by anti-war protestors and dissenters “for a higher good in the spirit of Thoreau,” are now down the drain when the conscience being violated is a Biblical one. Liberal = hypocrite. Their “tolerance” is a ruse to gain supremacist power over us and impose their revolutionary intolerance of 3,000 years of western morality. Their appeal is solely to situation ethics; their morality is as fluid as the zeitgeist.
