This morning, conservative writer Jennifer Rubin penned an OpEd, Devin Nunes, Trump's Political Stooge, Is At It Again, based on the Maddow report last night. If you missed it, watch the video above. This is hard for me. I've been running my mouth over the past several years that I'm done with the "lesser of two evils politics" the Democrats (and, I guess, the Republicans) thrive on. The Democrats persuade base voters to back their putrid candidates by threatening us all with how bad the Republican is in comparison.
I once had a financial advisor, long ago, who told me he would vote for Cuomo to be president because he would be the first Italian-American president. He had no idea what Cuomo was about politically, just that he was of Italian heritage, like the financial advisor. It made me question his judgment and wonder if he was the right person for me to be working with.
What does "off the deep end" mean exactly? The Urban dictionary's take: "To degenerate cognitively, to be in the process of having a mental breakdown, the process of going crazy." The Cambridge Dictionary is a little more formal and less emotive: "to get very angry about something or lose control of yourself." And Wikipedia had the best take of all, although, alas, unrelated to my purpose: Off the Deep End is the seventh studio album by 'Weird Al' Yankovic, released in 1992. This album was the first album self-produced by Yankovic, after six albums with Rick Derringer.
Earlier we noted in passing that Devin Nunes' voting record was one of only 22 Republican (+ one fake Democrat, Conor Lamb) who had scored a ZERO. I immediately got attacks from Nunes and Lamb fans (different people so far). These aren't my findings; they got spit out by the ProgressivePunch algorithm.
Alas, it looks likely that the $1,390,505 Andrew Janz has managed to generate in anti-Nunes contributions may power him into Congress. Why "alas?" Janz is a dreadful candidate who will undoubtably make a dreadful member of Congress. How do I know? I spoke to him right after he declared he's running-- before he rented any Beltway consultants who taught him how to speak like a Democrat. How he, more or less, speaks like a Democrat.

Congress finally received the 'electronic communication', which is the original reason why counterintelligence spied on the Trump campaign alleging they colluded with Russia, but no official intelligence was used to open the investigation, which indicates the investigation was illegal. Congress is investigating the US State Department because its info was leaked to the FBI. Four of Comey's memos were classified and he laundered them through a friend who leaked them to the New York Times in order to open a special counsel investigation- also illegal.
