CNN medical analyst Dr Leana Wen was concerned that millions of Americans would reject the experimental Covid-19 vaccines, especially as businesses are reopening. She said " ... if everything is reopened, what's the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine?"

The NY Times reported that companies in Georgia faced outrage from activists, customers and a coalition of powerful Black executives after large companies did not immediately oppose the legislation. Other companies to speak out against the voting law included Coca-Cola, Home Depot and Apple.

An Antifa group responsible for organizing the violent Portland riots is now compiling a blacklist of pro-police companies in the city. Conservative columnist Rita Panahi commented: "Businesses are going to be coerced into supporting certain groups to avoid being targeted. It’s tantamount to extortion."

Every state has plans for contact tracing. In Washington state, where contact tracing is said to be voluntary, non-compliant individuals may be sent to prison and fined up to $2,000 per day for non-compliance.
