People aren't buying the distractions anymore.

Rounding off this second season we take a look at SALT, the 2010 action thriller starring Angelina Jolie as a CIA officer accused of being a Russian sleeper agent. We chart the development of the film, from its origins as an attempt to recreate the Bourne franchise, through Amy Pascal and Jolie’s conversations about making a female-led spy thriller. SALT is one of the less well known CIA-assisted productions, but along with technical advice from former CIA officer Melissa Boyle Mahle the producers also consulted with the CIA themselves in a video conference.

In a recent article written for Information Clearing House, Franklin Lamb states: “I confess to having purchased four children near Ramlet el Baida beach recently from a stressed-out Syrian woman.” The article goes on to describe the illegal practices of brokering, bartering, purchasing, and trafficking children. The eventual goal seems to be a “re-homing” of these young ones, with the side benefit of a journalistic coup in terms of self-promotion.

After removing her breasts in an apparent attempt to ‘prevent breast cancer’ back in 2013, Angelina Jolie has now chosen to surgically remove her ovaries.

Natural Society has already produced an excellent article by Anthony Gucciardi regarding Angelina’s Jolie’s decision to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed based on her doctor’s assertion that she presents a risk for ovarian cancer. Therefore, this commentary will address a different perspective on this truly tragic saga.
