Small Choices Can Change the World
I bring you the bank of the Mississippi River. I hand you a shovel. “Your job,” I say, “is to change the flow of this river. You are only allowed to use this shovel.” Could you do it?

By Chris Tomson | Al-Masdar News | 09/06/2017 DAMASCUS – Late on Friday afternoon, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Hezbollah and allied Iraqi paramilitary contingents dashed through southeastern Homs and reached an Iraqi border point, thus slicing adrift the frontline between rebel forces based in the Al-Tanf region and ISIS militants in the neighboring Deir […]

It's hard to say exactly when, but sometime in the early part of the 21st century downtown Los Angeles's skyline changed. And not in an inspiring way. What lent it somewhat of a depressing feel was the nature of the name tenants on its tall buildings.
There is no doubt the government of India has attempted to prohibit through the backdoor, beef consumption across the country through new rules made under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. The rules per se do not explicitly ban cattle slaughter or beef consumption, but they ban the sale and purchase of cattle for slaughter in cattle markets,[Read More...]
In the aftermath of the British election the British political class and the British mainstream media commentariat are in shock, and are still struggling to come to terms with an election outcome which just a few weeks ago none of them were predicting and which all of them were denying could happen right up to polling day.
Two of our writers – myself and Adam Garrie – however live in Britain, and because we are not blinded by the globalist prejudices and conventional thinking that blinds the British media and political class, we were able to see what was coming.
The truth is that getting fired is one of the best things that can ever happen to you, if you look at it the right way. There is certainly no reason to consider it the end of the world. It can be the beginning of great things. It sounds like a cliche but it is actually true. Getting fired inspires you toward a higher degree of excellence, and it teaches you important lessons about getting overly attached to a single path for your career.

The Philippine military has confirmed that the United States has started to offer limited support to President Rodrigo Duterte’s battle with ISIS.
Duterte had said that the US is unreliable as an ally insofar as they impose ideological conditions as a prerequisite for any kind of assistance. Duterte contrasted this with Russia and China which operate in a more straightforward and businesslike manner.
Thursday one of the Trumpist dark money front groups, America First Policies, dumped another $1,339,990 into GA-06 to smear Ossoff and bolster the failing Republican candidate, Karen Handel, after her stunningly bad debate performance. Republican dark and dirty money groups, like Paul Ryan's shady SuperPAC and America First Policies, have rushed something like $30,000,000 to GA-06 so far-- they will spend much more by Tuesday-- and they have no choice.
Keeping up appearances that the FBI is independent of presidential politics doesn’t solve any problems. In fact, it obscures the problem that the president of the United States has way too much power. Impeachment, if that day ever comes, won't change that.

June 10, 2017 (Tony Cartalucci - NEO) - Several were left dead and many more injured after coordinated terror attacks on Iran's capital of Tehran.
The diplomatic spate, engulfing the Gulf States, have left wide open cracks in the otherwise all-Sunni house, led by Saudi Arabia. It appears that the Islamic Military Alliance (IMA) has set Qatar for itself as the first target, and that it will not stop short of bringing a regime change in Qatar in order for bringing the small Gulf state into the orbit of the big Gulf state.
Yesterday, Friday, the Russian Duma held its first (of three) readings to adopt a law making use of TOR and VPN illegal.
The plan is to make access to sites blocked by net censor authority Roskomnadzor illegal. And there are plenty of them.
If Northern Ireland were a normal democracy, the election campaign would be dominated by a single question: how did the Democratic Unionist Party end up advancing the cause of a united Ireland through its support for Brexit? More specifically: what role did dark money play in that extraordinary decision? This story has all the makings of a John le Carré […]

Of course, the CIA and the George W. Bush White House have also been alleged to have been involved. Anyone who scours the present article and its sources will find plenty of evidence implicating them; but the U.S. regime cannot go to war against itself; and, so, only the foreign government that actually financed and organized the 9/11 attacks, will be the focus here.
President Trump’s simplistic siding with Saudi Arabia and Israel – and his callous reaction to a terror attack on Iran – are fueling new tensions in the Middle East, including the Qatar crisis, as ex-British diplomat Alastair Crooke explains.

The Syrian Arab Army has been making strong and swift advances through the deserts of southern Syria near the Jordanian and Iraqi borders and are all ready moving north on Deir ez-Zor, one of the last major terrorist strongholds in Syria.
According to Al-Masdar,
Over the last 24 hours, Donald Trump and Recep Tayyip Erdogan have given statements indicating their positions on Qatar, positions which each seem more concerned with defining their own status as world leaders than about the actual situation in the Gulf.
Erdogan’s statements are generally more straightforward than those coming from Donald Trump. Erdgoan clearly sees the crisis in the Gulf as a way to finally achieve one of his long term goals in re-establishing neo-Ottoman Turkish influence over the Arab world.
Kirby thinks assassinating Trump is more likely than World War III.
Rob Kirby has made another video in a series. The first part of that series is below the video. It concerns an American secret Treasury Department slush fund where the CIA stashes its profits from the heroin market. The title of this video says as Mr Kirby implies that the New World Order crowd is about to fail miserably. It is well worth the effort to watch this video.
European Union leaders fear British Prime Minister Theresa May’s shock loss of her majority in the snap election she called will delay Brexit talks due to start this month and raise the risk of negotiations failing.

...Theresa May won a Pyrrhic victory, by shooting her party in the head as one Conservative MP put it. Jeremy Corbyn, by contrast, has returned Labour to being a real political force, with the future on its side. Why? Because, in short, it’s the democratically, morally and intellectually sustainable way to go.

Saudi Arabia and many of its Arab allies, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Yemen, Libya’s transitional government, as well as Maldives and Mauritius cut diplomatic ties with Qatar this week.
The idea to create a European defense structure independent from NATO had been floated for some time. It was a topic for discussions but no concrete steps have been taken to make it come true. It appears to be changing now after US President Trump apparently made no mention of Article 5 or collective defense during the May 25 NATO summit to stun his European allies. «Trump Leaves NATO» was the Carnegie Endowment’s assessment of the event. No such thing ever happened before. It provides a powerful incentive for the Europeans to push ahead with plans to convert the words into deeds.

A vision of human progress In France the Marquis de Condorcet had written an equally optimistic book, “Esquisse d’un Tableau Historique des Progres de l’Esprit Humain”. I can understand why the ruling elite, broadly conceived to include the intel bureaucracy and military-industrial complex, has an interest in positing Russia as our enemy. They have everything to lose and nothing to gain from swallowing this … Continue reading "Let’s All Calm Down About Russia"
