Robert Randolph & The Family Band – “Traveling Shoes”
This week on the Soothing the Beast BFP/Jamiol Music Pick we visit the guitar once more. This time it’s Robert Randolph and the Family Band (an American funk and soul band) led by pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph. Other band members include drummer Marcus Randolph, bass guitarist Danyel Morgan, vocalist Lenesha Randolph, keyboardist and guitarist Brett Andrew Haas. Randolph was named one of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Guitarists. So tonight after the snow has fallen and the shovels are laid to rest, it’s time for some of Randolph’s bluesy rock performed on stage from Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010…enjoy…DJPJ.
