Members of Congress Who Settle Sexual Harassment Claims Will Now Have to Pay Out of Pocket

Under the new rules, members of Congress who have been accused of sexual misconduct will pay for all out-of-court settlements out of pocket, and there will be a maximum cap of $300,000 on members who are found liable in court-awarded judgments.
