He discusses the Russian plans to expand the Artic fleet with new generation nuclear-powered icebreakers, Russia’s strong opposition to the U.S. plan for financing private armies and mercenaries to fight in Afghanistan, the deepening tensions in the U.S-Russian diplomatic relations, and, on a lighter note, the exponential increase in the Russian cheese-production as the result of the import embargo on the EU agricultural products.
