The winter storm has severely impacted the people of Gaza, many of whom are still living in temporary shelters since they have been unable to rebuild after the Israeli assault in July and August of 2014 that left over 2100 people dead and tens of thousands homeless.

Life in Gaza became impossible, to the extent that the UN Conference on Trade and Development released a report last September warning that Gaza could become ‘uninhabitable’ in less than five years, if current economic trends continue.

“We plant our roots and we are rooted to this land. Olive trees are the trees of life. We see our people’s eyes and the hopes of our women and the dreams of our men reflected off this tree.”

The Palestinians have become a test and trial  population who are being subjected to the testing of heinous weapons being produced by Israel. The psychological camouflage  that is sustaining this laboratory testing on Palestinians is the “ existential threat card” being played by Israel (all for profitable measures)
