Kunming and the New Burma Road: Building Up not Bombing Down
While the cowardly Trump Administration and its Generals pathetically try to parade their manliness to a puzzled world by lobbing giga-bombs and cruise missiles around the world from Syria to Yemen to Somalia to Afghaistan, China and her Eurasian neighbors, notably the Russian Federation, and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, are building up the peaceful economic alternative.

Do You Think The Economy Will Escape A Trump Meltdown?
From time to time I asked my financial advisor when she thinks the Trump Crash will come. She doesn't see one coming any time soon. I hope she's right. Do you know who Jim Rogers is? I used to see him on TV all the time when I watched financial news programs. Usually termed a "legendary investor," he was one of the founders of the Quantum Fund. He was just interviewed by Business Insider's Henry Blodget.

Is His Serial Dishonesty Finally Catching Up With Central Valley Republican Jeff Denham?
We haven't spent enough time talking about CA-10, an important district that the DCCC has failed over and over again to rescue from Republican hands. A Central Valley district primarily in Stanislaus County, with a substantial part of San Joaquin as well, the district is represented by a knee-jerk Republican backbencher, Jeff Denham, an odd fit in a minority majority district. CA-10, just east of San Jose, gave Obama wins both times he ran and, albeit by a smaller margin, went for Hillary over Trump last year, 48.5% to 45.5%.

Vultures or Pigs?
I get it – its a tough choice.
Vultures graze death. They pick clean the refuse. Stalk, and Feed off poverty.
Pigs on the other hand eat anything. Everything. Dead or alive. The same with Lobsters, shrimp, and catfish… Its maybe why they taste so good.
So many of my friends & family are with the vultures.

Sundes gloomy look at the future of the Internet
At its inception, the internet was a beautifully idealistic and equal place. But the world sucks and we’ve continuously made it more and more centralized, taking power away from users and handing it over to big companies. And the worst thing is that we can’t fix it — we can only make it slightly less awful.
That was pretty much the core of Pirate Bay’s co-founder, Peter Sunde‘s talk at tech festival Brain Bar Budapest. -

The British election outcome will not stop Brexit. Here’s why
The aftermath of the British election has inevitably led to discussion about its effect on Brexit. Some people fear and others hope that it will either stop Brexit from taking place entirely or will so water Brexit down as to make it essentially meaningless.
Nothing could be further from the truth, and a good starting point to explain why is to look first at the two party leaders: Prime Minister Theresa May and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. -
