Former NYPD Officer Charged with Hate Crime in Brooklyn Graffiti Spree

Police in Brooklyn say a former member of their department was arrested and charged with a hate crime Sunday in connection with anti-semitic graffiti found in more than a dozen locations this weekend.
Investigators say Michael Setiawan, 36, of Queens is charged with criminal mischief as a hate crime, aggravated harassment as a hate crime and criminal mischief.
The arrest comes after anti-semitic graffiti was found spray painted in nearly 20 locations of Borough Park, on cars, stores, and a school between 13th and 16th avenues.
