North Carolina Ex-Cop Writes Jail Letters to Teen Girl he Impregnated, Resulting in Further Prison Time

It is not uncommon for men to get lonely in jail, but a fired North Carolina police officer took it too far when he attempted to contact a now 15-year-old girl he impregnated.
James Blair, 51, is a former cop with the Lowell Police Department. PINAC News first reported on how he impregnated a 14-year-old girl in 2016.

Ex-Cop Turned Oklahoma Prosecutor Clears Cops who Shot Deaf Man for not Obeying Verbal Commands

A former cop, turned Oklahoma prosecutor, will not file criminal charges against the two cops who fatally shot Madgiel Sanchez, a developmentally disabled deaf man, even though neighbors were screaming he couldn’t hear their commands.
“We were screaming that he can’t hear,” Julio Rayos, Sanchez’s neighbor, told The Oklahoman.

Video posted to Facebook shows an unarmed man fatally shot during a scuffle with Florida deputies after a call to 911 about a domestic disturbance on December 7.
“They’re gonna shoot you, man,” onlookers shout at Jean Pedro Pierre as he holds Broward County deputy Sean Youngward’s ankle.
“Let him go. You’re gonna get yourself in bad trouble. There’s a lot more coming, man.”
Pierre, 42, kicks deputy Youngward’s thigh a few times before back up deputy Steven Briggs arrives with  his gun drawn.

A Minnesota cop’s K-9 attacked an innocent woman as she was taking out her trash in September.
And now she’s suing.
St. Paul cop Thaddeus P. Schmidt failed to maintain control of his police dog that mauled her arm for more than 30 seconds after grabbing her and knocking her to the ground.
“You’re fine,” one officer can be heard telling the woman as he grabs her hand, pulling her away from the dog.
But that only appears to cause her more pain, since the dog’s bite is locked onto her arm pulling her in the opposite direction.

The Arizona cop who shot and killed an unarmed man begging not to be killed was found not guilty today.
A jury acquitted Philip Brailsford of both second-degree murder and reckless manslaughter. He was facing up to 25 years in prison.
Brailsford claimed he was in fear for his life, thinking Daniel Shaver was reaching for a gun, even though five other officers at the scene held their fire.

South Carolina Cop Guilty of Killing Walter Scott, Sentenced to 20 Years

The South Carolina cop who shot and killed a man as he was running away from him, later claiming he was in fear for his life because the man was trying to take his taser, was sentenced to 20 years in prison a federal judge ruled today.
And only because a witness happened to video record the shooting.
The video shows North Charleston police officer Michael Slager shoot Walter Scott as the 50-year-old man was running away from him in 2015, striking him five times in the back, killing him instantly.

Virginia Cop Arrested for Downloading Personal Sex Videos from Phone of Suspect he Arrested

A Virginia cop has been arrested for downloading private sex videos from the cellphone of a suspect he arrested.
Then sending the videos to his own phone.
Colonial Heights cop Bryan Glinn Drake, 30,transferred short videos from the phones of a suspect and his girlfriend he arrested on drug charges in March.
A lawyer for the arrested suspect stated that during the arrest Drake searched through the phone and found the videos, which were “short but of an explicit nature.”
The videos were taken by the girlfriend of the suspect Drake arrested.

An Oklahoma City police officer who fatally shot a suicidal man who called 911 for help on November 15 was charged with second degree murder Tuesday.
Body cam footage shows that when police arrived to the scene, two officers attempted talking to 29-year-old Dustin Pigeon, telling him to drop a bottle of lighter fluid he was holding in his hands.
“Come here, man, stop it,” one officer can be heard saying.
“Let me see your hands, bud.”
Pigeon complied, dropping his hands to his waist then raising them after the officers’ orders.

United States Capitol Police Arrest 11 Anti-GOP Tax Bill Protesters

United States Capitol police arrested 11 protesters on December 4 after they flooded the hallways, staging a sit-in outside the offices of Republican lawmakers who voted in favor to rewrite the U.S. tax code.
“Kill the bill!” and “Tax the rich, not the sick!” the protesters chanted, refusing to leave.
“Relief for the sick and spent, not just for the one percent.”
The demonstrators assembled outside of Pennsylvania Congressman Brian Fitzgerald’s office after he joined 227 of his Republican colleagues to support the House’s version of the tax bill in November.

Atlanta Cops Cite Good Samaritans for Feeding Homeless People without Permits

Atlanta police officers punished citizens for doing the good deed of feeding homeless people during Thanksgiving week by citing them for not first applying for and obtaining permits from the government.
“I mean, outrageous, right? Of all the things to be punished for, giving free food to people who are hungry?” Marlon Kautz, an activist for Food Not Bombs, told WSB-TV after receiving a ticket.
