RealClearPolitics' current Michigan polling average shows Trump down by 4.2%-- but the poll includes a made up poll by Republican Party disinformation group, Trafalgar (that has Trump up by 2 points, the only poll out of dozens this year showing Trump winning in Michigan. Even Rasmussen, also a Republican polling firm, showed Trump down by 8 points-- 51% to 43% on Thursday.
I'm sure you know by now that Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert tested positive for COVID-19... in between chatting, maskless, with William Barr (also maskless) and boarding AirForce One for a flight to Texas with Trumpanzee, the reason he was tested. He was then rejected as a passenger.

The current congressman, freshman Harley Rouda isn't nearly as bad as Rohrabacher. He beat Rohrabacher in the anti-red wave of 2018-- 157,837 (54%) to 136,899 (46%).
On Friday, Texas had a relatively good day in the new case department, "only" 8,552 confirmed new cases. Yesterday there were 7,735 more, bringing the total to 393,683 in total-- 13,577 cases per million Texans. The population of the state is around 29.9 million, about half as many people as Italy, which is one of the hardest-hit countries in the world. But with twice as many people, Italy only has 245,864 cases (4,067 cases per million Italians).

But unlike other early states, Georgia is led by a right-wing ideologue, Brian Kemp, who learned nothing at all about public health and seems to care no a whit about the residents of his state. While the coronavirus is under control in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and the other early states, Georgia's pandemic is bigger than ever.Wednesday, Georgia reported the 4th biggest one-day new cases in the country, right below Texas, Florida and California-- and worse off than Arizona!
Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has COVID-19. I hope he recovers without getting any of the horrific side-effects and without passing it along to his family.
