Witnesses said that Jamar Clark was shot in the head while handcuffed.
Freeman said today that he doesn’t believe that Clark wasn’t handcuffed, where he announced:
Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Wednesday that he would not be charging Minneapolis Police Officers Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze in the shooting death of Jamar Clark.
Freeman said that a thorough four-month investigation after the Nov. 15 shooting revealed that Clark was not handcuffed at any time. Police were called to the scene because Clark had been identified as a suspect in a domestic assault and was interfering with paramedics’ efforts to treat the victim.
Minneapolis police officers, Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze definitely shot and killed Jamar Clark that night while on patrol.
Black Lives Matters protests filled the streets and continued for weeks after the incident, which exposed a rift in Minnesota Nice between police and their minority residents.
Some Black Lives Matters protesters themselves were shot.
And an attack on those protesters by white supremacists which we would show you, but the video has been compromised by “Complaint Censorship” on YouTube and can’t be seen today called, “White supremacists driving towards Black Lives Matter protest.”
It was left to a doctor to tell the family Jamar Clark was “brain dead.”
Paramedics were called to a lover’s quarrel after police were called elevating the fight into a full on domestic violence incident.
But Jamar Clark was unarmed.
Minneapolis cops shot Clark while his spouse was being treated by paramedics and he came back to the scene.
His family says he was shot “in the head, execution style.”
Witnesses said at the time that he was “lifeless” when they placed him in the ambulance, while police claimed Jamar Clark was alive and treated at the hospital.
Later, the head of the Minneapolis Police Union claimed that Clark went for the officer’s gun, while handcuffed, which would make Clark out to be a veritable Houdini.

One of the specific demands of the protesters was ending the practice of trying police officers in Prosecutors’ secret Grand Jury proceedings.
Hennepin County DA Mike Freeman gave a detailed press conference laying out his reasoning for deciding not to press charges against the two officers, which is sure to be an unpopular decision in an election year.
But Freeman is a former gubernatorial candidate who lost a pair of party primary defeats in 1994 and in 1998 and when Minnesota voters preferred to elect Jesse “the Body” Ventura, so he’s not worried about the pressures of re-election or being popular.
Which is unfortunate for Jamar Clark’s family members seeking a criminal trial against the officers who killed their son, brother or cousin.
