For the retrial, the State ditched its first so-called expert witness Veronique Valliere in favour of Barbara Ziv to better explain “rape myths”, ie to use her junk science voodoo to convince the jury that any behaviour by a rape complainant is consistent with her having actually been raped. According to Ziv, rape victims often maintain contact with their violators, except in cases of stranger rape.
This is standard rape trauma pablum, but coming out of the mouth of a woman whose name is prefixed with the title Doctor, jurors, who for the most part are lay people, can be swayed, and were in this case, probably more by the number of complainants than anything else.
The reality is that a reasonably intelligent, educated woman over whom her rapist has no hold will usually report fairly promptly. Many victims fight back, even if the situation appears hopeless, and some even get the better of the attacker, or put up such a fight that he gives up and flees.
The whole concept of “rape myths” is designed to nullify an obviously questionable allegation, in particular to explain away any purported delay in reporting. Taken to the extreme, accepting this feminist drivel about rape myths means there is no such thing as exculpatory evidence – guilty by accusation.
Andrea Constand’s victim impact statement was published in full by a number of outlets. If you take the time to read it, and if you compare it with the testimony of real rape victims, women who were victims of unambiguous, often life-altering rapes, you will notice a familiar pattern: the women who suffer the most complain the least.
In the Weinstein trial, at which Ziv also testified as a so-called expert witness, there was plenty of exculpatory evidence, including what have been described as “loving e-mails”, from a woman he was alleged to have raped twice.
That being said, the evidence against Weinstein, such as it was, showed him in a far worse light that Cosby. The entrapment tape used by the police in New York when they wired up Ambra Guitierrez and sent her back to him, yielded an apparent admission that he had touched her breast, something for which he apologised. Although Weinstein attempted to lure her into his hotel room, he stopped at verbal threats and did not attempt to manhandle her. While Cosby was a player, Weinstein was a pig, albeit a pig with boundaries. He was also a target.
Shortly before the verdict, Sixty Minutes Australia released a documentary about the case which included interviews with the clearly deranged Rose McGowan and Weinstein’s dynamic lead attorney Donna Rotunno. As Miss Rotunno pointed out, women – ie a certain type of woman – is attracted to the aura of power around men like Weinstein. If the reader is still unconvinced, think of what might have been the fate of Bill Clinton had Monica Lewinsky told an entirely different story about that semen-stained dress.
Incidentally, Harvey Weinstein is far from the first Hollywood mogul to be falsely accused of rape. In 1929, Alexander Pantages was actually framed, by a young woman named Eunice Pringle.
It remains to be seen how much thought went into framing Weinstein from the outset, but a case can be made for one of his accusers actually setting him up. Watch this video carefully and see how Melissa Thompson encourages or at the very least does not reject his physical advances. She claims to have been raped off-camera, but she would say that, wouldn’t she? The actress Lysette Anthony claims to have been raped by Weinstein twice. She admits she didn’t realise she’d been raped at the time. A clear case of regret sex, years down the line, which is probably why she went back for more.
She is seen above pictured with her “violator”. Listening to her she is clearly a sad, disturbed woman.
Mention should be made of some of the women who turned Weinstein down or put him in his place. These include the Australian actress Cate Blanchette. The ultra-talented Myleene Klass said he offered her what amounted to a sex contract, and she told him what he could do with it. Ashley Judd is another class act who told him where to get off.
Although the person most credited for taking down Weinstein is Ronan Farrow, the role of Gloria Allred in creating the atmosphere of “believing all women” is difficult to overstate. And then there is Lisa Bloom, Gloria’s daughter who has also made a habit out of promoting women who make blatantly false allegations against high profile men. Bloom represented a woman who used the name Katie Johnson to accuse Donald Trump of raping her when she was thirteen. No police report, note, certainly nothing contemporaneous, only a civil suit years later.

There is though another way that delay may facilitate a false allegation, the accuser may genuinely come to believe she has been raped by rewriting a consensual but sordid sexual encounter in her tiny mind as rape. This is what happened to Rodney Anderson; his “victim” waited nearly three weeks before falsely accusing him, but text messages revealed the truth. Constand waited months before accusing Cosby, and during that time she maintained friendly contact with him, even giving him a birthday present, but the sordid circumstances of their liaison was something she couldn’t face up to.
Andrea Constand is a lesbian, Cosby had come on to her before, and she had rejected him, so why was this white lesbian dining alone with a married black multimillionaire old enough to be her father? He was “mentoring” her. Yeah, right.
The available evidence does not exculpate Cosby entirely, but it is more than enough to spell reasonable doubt, which is why the District Attorney rightly declined to prosecute. Not satisfied with this and still struggling to convince herself she was an innocent victim rather than a player, Constand brought a civil action against Cosby and leaked the details to the media. She did or somebody did. As often happens in such cases, one false allegation led to many more, something that is known as the bandwagon effect. In the 1960s and 70s, Cosby had clearly been involved in the drug culture, and had procured the recreational drug Quaaludes which he had given to women. Now, many of these women claimed to have been drugged and raped.
Quaaludes were big white pills, totally unlike those he had given Constand, but his honest if foolish admissions were twisted to morph him into a serial rapist. Faced with false accusers coming at him left, right and centre, Cosby’s lawyers undoubtedly advised him to settle. He did, for a massive sum, and the case went to sleep for a decade.
What happened next is well documented, the comedian Hannibal Buress made a joke at Cosby’s expense about him drugging and raping women, and soon Cosby was being bombarded with false accusations left, right and centre. Many, but not all these false accusers were facilitated by the ambulance-chasing lawyer Gloria Allred. A full exposé of her handiwork can be found in this 84 minute video, but here are two short clips of the kind of women who contacted Allred, and who she had the temerity to put in front of the camera.
The first is Helen Hayes, who claims Cosby groped her breast when she was a teenager four decades previously. This indecent assault was apparently carried out in front of her friends in a crowded restaurant. Cosby was already a celebrity at the time, yet she didn’t scream or protest, and nobody noticed. And people believe this rubbish.
The second clip features Linda Ridgway Whitedeer, who had a minor part in the 1972 Charles Bronson film The Mechanic, then faded back into well deserved obscurity. Listen to this woman carefully, then ask yourself why none of the journalists present burst into fits of uncontrollable laughter.
In the UK, Gloria Allred would never have been permitted to parade such demented women before the media, and would probably have been struck off by the solicitors’ professional body, but, incredibly, she went one better by becoming a party to an even more outrageous false allegation, against Judge Roy Moore, when Beverly Nelson Young produced a document he was alleged to have signed, then admitted she had added the date to it (ie created a false instrument) at a later date. (The two women are pictured above).
When the new District Attorney decided to prosecute Cosby at the 59th minute of the 11th hour, he realised he was faced with a very difficult problem. Although Cosby had already been convicted of serial rape in the court of public opinion, at trial only one accuser other than Constand was allowed. Constand had, as stated, maintained friendly relations with him, so how would this be explained away? The solution was to bring in expert evidence of rape trauma syndrome, an imaginary condition. This failed, and Tom Mesereau, who a decade earlier had won the acquittal of the innocent Michael Jackson, managed to secure a hung jury. He should have put Cosby on the stand, but didn’t, something that is almost always a mistake in a sexual assault trial. He could also have made some common sense comments about alcohol and drugs in his closing argument, but he didn’t.
The case was retried, and this time five other women were permitted to give evidence of prior bad acts including Janice Dickinson and Chelan Lasha.
Lasha is both a convicted prostitute and a convicted false accuser. Dickinson boasts of having bedded a thousand men and one woman. In 2012, she claimed to have assaulted her first husband, breaking his thumb after catching him in flagrante delicto, and cutting the face of the other woman. She says too she was sexually abused by her own father, and claims in a roundabout way to have caused his death. All this begs the question, what would she have done to Cosby had he really raped her? She also admitted taking Quaaludes herself, but later palmed this off on Cosby.

In February this year, former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was convicted of two counts of rape and sentenced to 23 years in prison. That conviction in a New York courtroom did not signal the end of his troubles; he was already awaiting extradition to California to be tried on similar charges when late last month, four more women came forward with rape allegations.
In 2018, veteran comedian Bill Cosby was convicted of sexually assaulting former basketball coach Andrea Constand, and is currently serving a sentence that could very likely see a man of his age dying behind bars.
Both men have been accused of multiple sex offenses going back decades; the violation of Constand is alleged to have happened way back in 2004, but allegations that Cosby raped women go back a lot further than that. Similarly, Harvey Weinstein has been accused of multiple sex offenses, and in a less politically correct climate might be stereotyped as the overweight Jew film producer lusting over and deflowering young Aryan ingénues.
The conviction of first Cosby and then Weinstein has been hailed by the #MeToo Movement and its supporters as a watershed, vulnerable and at times helpless women fighting back against powerful men and holding them to account. This is largely the way the media sees it, but a closer look reveals a much more nuanced picture, one that contains not only blurred lines of consent but easily provable lies.
In 2015, the comedian Jay Leno asked only half-jokingly why was it so difficult to believe women when at that time Cosby was facing 25 accusers. That number has more than doubled, reaching 60 by last December. Like Cosby, Weinstein has been accused of a spectrum of offenses from non-crimes like sexual harassment – which can mean virtually anything – to aggravated rape. Between them, the two men have been accused of raping dozens of women, including on multiple occasions, yet both continue to protest their innocence. Again, in the spirit of Jay Leno, most people tend to ask how can there be that much fire with no smoke at all? An apparently entirely reasonable question, but the wrong one. The real question that needs to be asked and which has not been satisfactorily answered is who has been creating all this smoke, to wit, if Cosby and Weinstein really did rape dozens of women over a period of decades, why is there not one contemporaneous police report or medical report? In other words, why did none of these women cry rape at the time? The blindingly obvious reason is these rapes did not happen at the time.
So who or what is behind all these allegations? The simply answer is it was a media driven feeding frenzy engineered principally by one corrupt lawyer: Gloria Allred.
Cosby was first accused of having wandering hands in January 2000 when he came on to Lachelle Covington, an actress young enough to be his granddaughter. She told him to stop, and he stopped. No crime committed. In 2004 though, he was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand. Constand did not file a police report until months later, and it is now clear that a) she was drinking alcohol at the time and b) had taken the drugs concerned from Cosby voluntarily. False allegations of rape are made for many reasons, but the factors that figure in them most heavily are the three D’s: drink, drugs, delay. Constand’s allegation contains all three.
Without going too far afield, alcohol is a factor in many allegations of rape – real ones as well as false ones. The effects alcohol can have on people’s inhibitions and behaviour needs no documenting here, but there is another effect on women especially. Women have less capacity for the “safe” consumption of alcohol than men, in particular it may block the transfer of short term memory into long term memory. A woman can appear to be and act as though she is totally sober, but wake up the next morning without remembering a thing, or over a period of time she may develop blurred, perhaps incorrect recollections of what actually happened. Or didn’t happen, as the case may be.
A striking case of this is Amanda Barrow, who was photographed performing a sexual act on a total stranger. When she appeared in court she admitted it was her on the film but denied (truthfully) remembering what she had done.
A far more serious case was that of American football player Rodney Anderson who was accused of something very similar to Cosby in broadly similar circumstances.
This is where the delay comes in. A rape is a violent act that often leaves physical evidence that is difficult to refute. As pointed out in a previous article, this evidence can be fabricated when a false allegation is reported promptly, but it is much safer for a false accuser to delay the report, to get her story straight, and to reduce it to a she said/he said situation. In some cases a false accuser who delays reporting for a very long time may drop hints, subliminal messages or outright lies to third parties in order to bolster her claim. This is undoubtedly what Christine Blasey Ford did in the Brett Kavanaugh case, and Tara Reade when she falsely accused Joe Biden.

Believe Me HOW TRUSTING WOMEN CAN CHANGE THE WORLD by Jessica Valenti and a gaggle of her demented fellow travellers is advertised on the Amazon UK website with the following blurb:
“Harvey Weinstein. Brett Kavanaugh. Jeffrey Epstein. Donald Trump. The most infamous abusers in modern American history are being outed as women speak up to publicly expose behavior that was previously only whispered about…”
If you’re wondering why Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh finds himself listed next to the odious Jeffrey Epstein, it is because according to Valenti and her co-compiler/editor Jaclyn Friedman: “Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court despite overwhelming evidence that he is a serial sexual predator.”
And this “overwhelming evidence” is?
We had the emotional testimony of Christine Blasey Ford, or perhaps that should be Christine’s blazing fraud, that three and a half decades ago Kavanaugh and another teenager were in a room with her, alone at a house party, and that Kavanaugh put his hand over her mouth to stop her screaming.
I thought he was going to rape me. Or choke me. Sob. Please don’t confirm this man to the Supreme Court. And like so much emotive testimony from liars of both sexes down through the ages, it was a total crock.
The beauty of a purportedly delayed report of sexual assault is that because there is no physical evidence it comes down to she said/he said. And why would a woman lie? Foolishly, Blasey Ford’s lawyer told us why; it was to put an asterisk next to Kavanaugh’s name in the event of an attempt being made to overturn Roe v Wade, (1973). Incidentally, Roe v Wade is a prime example of why we should not simply believe women. That landmark case was effected by the duplicity of two feminist attorneys. A quarter of a century later, after becoming a born again Christian, the woman at the centre of it testified as follows:
“My name is Norma McCorvey. I’m sorry to admit that I’m the Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade. The affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court didn’t happen the way I said it did, pure and simple. I lied! Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffey needed an extreme case to make their client look pitiable. Rape seemed to be the ticket. What made rape even worse? A gang rape! It all started out as a little lie, but my little lie grew and became more horrible with each telling.”
But there is more, a lot more to the Blasey Ford case. Who could debunk an allegation of sexual assault post-dated thirty-five years? Only a man like Kavanaugh, a squeaky clean choirboy who kept a detailed record of all the parties he attended!
On top of that, when she was cross-examined by sex crimes prosecutor Rachel Mitchell, Ford was exposed as a shameless liar. She had claimed her home had two front doors because of this imaginary incident. That was a lie. It had two front doors because she and her husband rented out their home. She claimed that for some reason it made her too nervous to fly. That was exposed as a lie.
All the same, it was still possible to believe Ford had had some sort of terrible experience in her teens which had scarred her for life, and that she had accidentally put Kavanaugh’s face on it – that can happen. However, any hope of this was shattered by the vlogger Ali Alexander who pointed out the reason she was so vague about the time and venue of this imaginary attack. One of Kavanaugh’s contemporaries had published a book about his salad days in which he mentioned the kind of antics he and Kavanaugh had gotten up to. Ford had obviously read that book, but it contained no details about the house concerned. The aforementioned brazen admission of Dr Ford’s attorney was the icing on the cake.
The other allegations against Kavanaugh are even less credible, indeed one of the people behind them is now behind bars for unrelated reasons. Crooked lawyer Michael Avenatti posed as a champion of women, yet he ripped off his most high profile female client, the adult entertainer Stormy Daniels.
Other contributors to this book include Moira Donegan, another woman who has no qualms about defaming innocent men, and Katherine Cross (not to be confused with a sane historian of the same name) who describes herself as “a pizza-loving feminist sociologist, trans Latina, and amateur slug herder”.
Do the brazen attack on Brett Kavanaugh and the oft’ parroted lies about Donald Trump also mentioned in this book prove women are never to be believed? Of course not! But Bill Cosby and quite likely Harvey Weinstein are now behind bars because women were believed when they shouldn’t have been. The so-called expert witness at both Cosby’s retrial and Weinstein’s trial was Barbara Ziv who was brought in by the prosecution to “educate” jurors about the (non-existent) rape trauma syndrome. Ziv testified that “we” have thirty years of research that shows us rape victims often remain on cordial terms with their attackers, and even have consensual sex with them afterwards. By thirty years of research, Ziv means thirty years of listening and believing.
What do other so-called experts say? According to rape crisis centres worldwide: “Rape is a terrifying, violent and humiliating experience that no woman wants or asks for.”
Yet so many of them go back for more. Or are we being played?
The photographs at the top of this page were taken in 1940. They are of John Dutton and the teenager he raped. Note her face; this is not the worst photograph from the file. Real victims have bruises, not credibility issues. Look too at Dutton’s face: when they can, real victims fight back. Believe women? Not if their names are Valenti and Friedman. Believe evidence instead!

Of course, there are women who choose not to report being raped, for whatever reason. A woman who is genuinely vulnerable may elect not to do so, and such women are often sought out by sexual predators. One such sexual predator was rogue Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw. He prayed on young black women on the fringe of society, but when he targeted an older woman who was driving her own car, she reported him immediately, and his goose was cooked.
Alcohol is often a big influence in sordid encounters. In the Cosby case, Andrea Constand had consumed alcohol on an empty stomach and waited months before reporting; that had reasonable doubt written all over it, but Mesereau failed to capitalise on it.
Granted that Weinstein is a far more odious individual than Cosby, but the credible evidence indicates he has boundaries. In 2017, he tried it on in New York with Ambra Gutierrez, a foreign model, a somewhat nervous individual who reported him to the police. They wired her up and sent her back to him. Weinstein appeared to admit touching her breast, and apologised for it, but when she refused persistently to accompany him to his room, instead of grabbing her and attempting to drag her physically, he showed only verbal nastiness.
Weinstein’s accusers include Asia Argento and Rose McGowan (pictured above). The idea that either of these women would not fight back against a rape attempt beggars belief, especially McGowan; any man who attempted to rape her would be taking his life in his hands. As for Argento, she found herself on the receiving end of a similar if somewhat amusing accusation. In 2013, then 37, she took a 17 year old to bed in California where the age of consent is 18. She ended up paying him $380,000. Most people would consider that a shakedown.
It should be pointed out that many women put Weinstein in his place. These include veteran actress Daryl Hannah, who told him where to go in no uncertain terms. In 1996, Weinstein tried it on with Gwyneth Paltrow, who is another class act; she told Brad Pitt, who confronted him.
Before concluding, let us examine just one recent article that peddles many of the media myths about rape. Writing for The Atlantic, January 28, Barbara Bradley Hagerty makes one absurd assertion after another:
“Rape is rarely investigated or prosecuted…” in which Universe?
She cites the famous English jurist Sir Matthew Hale’s oft’ quoted maxim that an allegation of rape is easy to make, difficult to prove, and even more difficult to defend. Hale might have added if that if the charge is in any sense historical it will probably be impossible to refute. Quoting him further, she says a woman’s testimony should be examined with caution. At the time Hale was writing, rape was capital. Is a man to be hanged without the evidence against him being assessed extremely carefully?
Also at that time, a woman was required to resist to the utmost and to report the outrage at once. Today in many jurisdictions a man can be convicted on the bare word of a woman with absolutely no corroboration, physical or otherwise, and the allegation can be backdated months, years, even decades. The suggestion that a rape should be reported as promptly as possible within reason is by no means unreasonable.
“Rape laws in most states were written in such a way as to make rape virtually impossible to prosecute,” says Jane Manning. So we have two women making false claims, but again one should bear in mind that in the United States rape could be capital until fairly recently. It was only in Coker v Georgia, (1977) that the death penalty for the rape of an adult woman was ruled unconstitutional.
Hagerty quotes one so-called expert who says only about 5% of rape allegations are false. Again, in what Universe? This is especially true when rape counsellors openly encourage women to make false allegations, and in an age when parading oneself in front of the media is rewarded with a certain victim status, and at times with hard cash.
“Police tend to pursue only cases involving a ‘righteous victim’—for example, a woman raped by a stranger with a gun, in an alley, who fought back, who had a clean record, and who had no alcohol in her system”.
Clearly such cases are easier to prove.
“When a woman alleges rape, the defense (and the jury) dissects not only her character and history, but also her behavior during and after the alleged assault.”
And? This is par for the course in many criminal investigations. How many people – women as well as men – have been falsely accused of murder because they did not react “properly” in its aftermath? There is however one and only one way to react to a rape: dial 911 at once.
She whines that it is a “high bar” for a crime with “no witnesses, reported long after any possible bruises had faded and DNA had disappeared”.
If a rape is reported at once, there will be DNA, and most likely bruises because most genuine victims fight back. If there is no DNA and no bruising, the obvious explanation is that there was no rape.
One more quote will suffice: “Friendly emails do not mean it’s consensual,” Tetlow notes. “But they are very tricky to explain to a jury.”
Damn right they are, and rightly so, this is what is known as exculpatory evidence.
As with all the other airheads who peddle this trauma rubbish, Hagerty is telling her readers believe women because vagina.
Returning finally to Weinstein, he has a mountain to climb if only because like Bill Cosby he has already been tried and convicted in the media. Having said that, how much sympathy does he deserve, and of more concern to most jurists, at what point will this #MeToo hysteria backfire? If it goes much further, men will start taking measures to protect themselves, indeed they are already doing so. Vice President Mike Pence has been ridiculed for operating the so-called Mike Pence rule, never being alone with a woman other than his wife. This might be better titled the Prophet Muhammad rule because Islam and Judaism before it recognised not only the fragility of human testimony but a particular female vice. As a leading American medical journal noted in 1919:
“Sex is woman’s strongest weapon. She uses it as a weapon of defence and offence. She uses it to attract and to repel, to reward, and to punish. When intent upon punishment, she is utterly without scruples, and there is no vileness, no falsehood, at which she will draw the line.”

The number of accusers is certainly impressive, and as people often believe there can be no smoke without fire, that quantity of smoke appears daunting for the defence. That though is an extremely superficial argument which amounts to claiming every allegation must contain at least a grain of truth. Coupled with that is the mantra “believe all women”, so if a woman tells you she is really a thousand years old, a werewolf, or was born on the planet Jupiter, the grain of truth is what?
When there is this much smoke, the first sensible question one should ask is “Who is creating all this smoke?” The answer is often surprising.
Although there were a number of payouts made by his company to women dating back several years relating to allegations of sexual harassment, sexual harassment is a far cry from rape, indeed oftentimes it is subjective, or as someone once said, sexual harassment is a come-on from a man a woman does not find attractive.
Weinstein was not formally accused of rape until October 2017 when the Los Angeles Times reported that an unnamed Italian model and actress claimed to have raped by him in 2013. All the allegations of rape against him are similarly post-dated, and this presents a problem for the prosecution, so the prosecutors have decided to bolster their case with so-called expert evidence in the form of Barbara Ziv.
Barbara Ziv is not an expert witness, rather she is a professional propagandist for the sexual grievance industry. She was used in the Bill Cosby retrial to “educate” the jurors in her own words, about “rape myths”. Before discussing Weinstein any further, let us look at the Cosby case. There is ample documentation on this; Cosby was accused by Andrea Constand in 2005 of digitally penetrating her the previous year. When the district attorney declined to prosecute, she brought a civil action, details of which were leaked to the media, and this resulted in a number of other accusers crawling out of the woodwork to accuse him. This prompted Cosby to settle, but a decade later the scandal was reignited after the comedian Hannibal Buress joked about Cosby raping women.
There then followed a veritable explosion, women literally crawled out of the woodwork, out of the gutter, and in a few cases out of the sewer, to accuse Cosby of everything from groping to serial aggravated rape. As with Weinstein and a number of similar cases in other jurisdictions, there was no contemporaneous evidence, no documentary or physical evidence, only words. Some of his accusers who were so foolish as to be too specific were exposed as liars, for example the late Louisa Moritz claimed to have been orally raped by Cosby in the green room of a studio when he was clearly not present.
Most of the Cosby accusers were presented to the world by Gloria Allred in media briefings at which the assembled reporters showed a total lack of critical faculty. If you think this is an exaggeration, check out the briefing with Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer, whose testimony beggars belief.
That being said, by the time of his first trial, Cosby had already been convicted in the court of public opinion by sheer weight of numbers. An amusing aside to this case was the competing narratives. Cosby is black, and most of his accusers were white. This left the talking heads in a dilemma: did they side with the women and face accusations of racism, or with Cosby and be accused of sexism, misogyny, even rape-enabling?
Eventually the feminist narrative prevailed, so from then on, any accusation by any woman trumps the denials of any man of any race be he ever so high or ever so humble. Cosby was defended by Tom Mesereau, who had successfully defended the late Michael Jackson against what with the wisdom of hindsight were clearly false allegations.
At the first trial, attempts to introduce thirteen other accusers were denied by the judge, only one was allowed, and one so-called expert witness: Veronique Valliere. Her purpose was to explain or rather to explain away Constand’s delayed reporting of her alleged digital rape by Cosby. In spite of the deck being stacked against him, Mesereau managed to secure a hung jury.
The retrial saw a new so-called expert witness, Ziv, and a number of other accusers. The prosecution asked for nineteen; the judge permitted five. Mesereau made the fatal mistake of failing to put Cosby on the stand; he could also have done more to counter Ziv’s flim-flam. The result was Cosby’s conviction. She trotted out the same rubbish in the Weinstein trial, which is?
There is a lot to unpack here but we are talking about rape trauma syndrome – which does not exist; denial; and the latest weapon of the sexual grievance industry, tonic immobility.
What does a woman do when she is raped or is the victim of an attempted rape? A reasonably intelligent, educated woman will fight back. If she is unable to fight back, she will generally report the rape or rape attempt fairly promptly. Because of this, most genuine rapists are brought to book, and indeed many actually plead guilty. A couple of examples will suffice.
Samantha Geimer was only thirteen years old when she was sexually violated by Roman Polanski. She reported him immediately, and he was convicted. In 2017, Juliana Ossa was just ten years old when she was attacked by a far more dangerous predator than Harvey Weinstein could ever be. She was swimming in a shallow Florida lake when an alligator snapped its jaws around her leg. Showing incredible presence of mind, she pulled off a trick she had been taught on a visit to Gatorland. She shoved two fingers into its nostrils, and the reptile opened its mouth to breath. Juliana escaped with stitches in her leg. Did she freeze? Maybe for an instant, but so-called experts would have the world believe many, many women freeze when attacked by men like Harvey Weinstein.
Regarding denial, the opposite of this is affirmation, which can involve women rewriting their sordid sexual experiences as rape. This is also known as relabelling.
These three cop outs – trauma, freezing, and denial – can be used to affirm any allegation of rape by any woman regardless of the evidence or lack thereof, and however absurd. If a fifteen stone weightlifter claims to have been overpowered by a six stone anorexic, cystic fibrosis sufferer, why wouldn’t she have frozen?
If she takes a month, a year, a decade, to report her rape, that is very typical. Indeed, many victims never report being raped. By the same token, so do many women who have not been raped, hence this so-called expert evidence is totally worthless and should not be permitted in any courtroom. It fails both the Frye test and the Daubert test.
