Long time anti-war former US Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, has spoken of his dismay at Donald Trump’s war on Syria.
Calling it a ‘victory for neo-cons’, Paul explained the similarities and differences between yesterday’s attack and a false flag incident in Syria in 2013 which almost led to full-war, but faced Congressional resistance.

When Chinese President Xi Jinping meets with US President Donald Trump on Thursday it couldn’t be more of a conference of polar opposites.
But opposites attract and in the next few months the two global superpowers are going to need each other more than ever If they are going to peacefully resolve the crisis in the Korean Peninsula.
The latest marketing mantra coming out of Washington DC following “Assad must go”, is now “if China does not deal with North Korea, we will.”
With the meme firmly in place, and all the warmongers in and around the DC establishment fully briefed on the script, all that is left is for Trump to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, to then decide if (and when) the US will formally attack North Korea, it what will be Trump’s first war.
Tomorrow Donald Trump will host his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at Mar-A-Lago. Today it was announced that Trump’s Presidential adviser Steve Bannon will no longer have a seat on the National Security Council.
Are these two stories related? They may be.
The US has been talking up the idea of “all options” being on the table against North Korea, unilateral military attacks in particular, for weeks now, and appears to be stepping up that narrative again today, declaring that “the clock has now run out” on North Korea.
