A lot of ink has been spilled on the latest allegations that Obama wiretapped the Trump campaign last fall, but very few people have gotten at the heart of the issue. As usual, Ron Paul is the only one from the mainstream realm willing to state the truth plainly: They are wiretapping everyone, and they don't need paperwork or special signed orders to do it.

President Donald J. Trump is leaving no stone unturned by asking the US Congress to investigate the alleged abuse of Executive powers by the Obama administration as part of the investigation into alleged Russian interference in the presidential election.
The Massachusetts wiretapping law makes it a felony to surreptitiously audio record anyone — even police officers and other government employees, and even when in a public place.
But a lawsuit filed Thursday by the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts argues that the law is “unconstitutional as applied to the secret recording of police officers performing their duties in public.”
A Florida cop secretly recorded a “hallway deposition” on his body cam of an innocent criminal court defendant and counsel, without asking his permission, in the courthouse hallway.
Florida’s wiretapping law only exempts police who are investigating a suspected crime.
But this Miami Beach officer was investigating a court case, and in so doing prejudiced the rights of the innocent, and he broke the law too.
Because he didn’t suspect anyone of a crime while having a discussion in a courthouse hallway.
The Project Veritas Action Fund, a conservative nonprofit known for releasing undercover videos, filed a federal lawsuit last Friday seeking to overturn aspects of the Massachusetts wiretapping law, which criminalizes secretly audio recording conversations.
Stephen Gordon, a spokesperson for Project Veritas, provided the following statement:
Newell Normand, Sheriff of Louisiana’s Jefferson Parish, enjoys talking politics most mornings with his breakfast club of cronies at the Royal Blend Coffee shop in beautiful historic Metairie.
But Normand’s regular gathering was interrupted on October 23rd, the eve of a statewide primary election, when he and his group noticed a man at another table recording them.
Angered by the discovery, the group confronted the man, Robert J. Frenzel, snapping a photo of him before chasing him out of the coffeeshop and through the surrounding neighborhood.
Despite coming up with a novel argument to justify wiretapping charges against Alfredo Valentin, the New Hampshire man arrested in March for recording police as they searched his home, prosecutors were smacked down by a judge in a ruling issued last Wednesday.
“They tried to take the language from Massachusetts law, and they kind of tried to sneak it into New Hampshire law,” said Brandon Ross, Valentin’s attorney.
