White Supremacy

Before the Law

The limited formal and negative generality of law under liberalism not only makes possible capitalist calculability but also guarantees a minimum of liberty since formal liberty has two aspects and makes available at least legal chances to the weak. For this reason there develops a conflict between the law and the liberties based thereon on the one side, and the requirements of a monopolistic economy on the other side.

Why a Two-State Solution May Be the Only Answer to America’s Enduring Racial Divide

I will state flatly that the bulk of this country’s white population impresses me, and has so impressed me for a very long time, as being beyond any conceivable hope of moral rehabilitation. They have been white, if I may so put it, too long. They have been married to the lie of white supremacy too long. The effect in their personalities, their lives, their very grasp of reality, has been as devastating as the lava which so memorably immobilized the citizens of Pompeii.

How Israel helped to revive Europe’s Ugly Ethnic Nationalism

Polarisation within western societies on issues relating to migration and human rights has been intensifying over recent weeks and months. The Supreme Court, Social Progress, and the Continued Supremacy of White Racism and Capitalism

WASHINGTON –  Despite widespread outrage and resistance, Hurricane Donald shows absolutely no sign of abating as it throws domestic and international politics into disarray.

The critics had already signaled their strategy for derailing any meaningful move toward normalizing relations between the United States and North Korea. Right-wing neoliberals from CNN, MSNBC and NPR are in perfect alignment with the talking points issued by U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and the Democrat Party that took the position that anything short of the North Koreans surrendering their national interests and national dignity to the United States was a win for North Korea.

13-Year Old Black Boy Lied about White Supremacists Robbing and Beating Him

Houston: 13-year-old Zavion Parker claimed he was grabbed by an adult and four young men after stepping off his school bus. He said that they robbed and beat him, and threatened him with a gun because he was black. The incident was featured in the local media. Now it has been determined that the story was a hoax. The people who live on the property where Zavion says the incident occurred have been harassed and threatened by the black community. [...]

Taming MLK’s Radical Legacy in the Fight Against White Supremacy

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. left behind a legacy of courage and clarity in the face of racial and economic injustice. It has been five decades since the world lost this visionary—the preeminent leader of the Civil Rights Movement—but his words and actions continue to inspire the fight for democracy and racial equality today.
