Arguably, no one has been more active in promoting and funding research on vaccines aimed at dealing with coronavirus than Bill Gates and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. From sponsoring a simulation of a coronavirus global pandemic, just weeks before the Wuhan outbreak was announced, to funding numerous corporate efforts to come up with a novel vaccine for the apparently novel virus, the Gates presence is there. What does it actually entail?
On the evening of March 10, 2020, US President Donald Trump made a speech few would forget. His demeanor was bizarre, his speech halting, confused and his words often hesitant and contradictory.
Few knew that many that Trump and his daughter Ivanka had met with at their Mar-a-Lago retreat, including the president of Brazil, would come down with COVID 19. From the UK Independent:
Does anyone remember the scene in the original film Jaws in 1975 when Captain Quint gets devoured by the shark? Well, the COVID-19 situation in the US makes me imagine Donald Trump being devoured by a gigantic coronavirus. Or perhaps, the shark’s role could be played by western mainstream media? Either way, there is some Trump munching going on. Whatever Hollywood special effect you apply, the Trump presidency is over. Hey, by the way, did Joe Biden engineer the SARS-CoV-2?
Happenstance is too close to reality, at least based on recent news in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and elsewhere in the United States. In spite of all the precautions which may only delay the impending pandemic, few places will be safe—not even rural Kentucky.
As an old school friend of mine wrote:
The US is only beginning to pay for President Trump’s second grade knowledge of science, as the stock market, which he purports to understand better than anybody, comes tumbling down as a result of the Corona Virus. Between the POTUS who doesn’t believe in climate change, and his VP, who believes we’re in the hands of God and due for punishment if we’re gay, the extent to which ‘the lone superpower’ is failing its basic duties to its people, is staggering.
Nothing read in or out of the US remotely resembles real politics in the US. The first issue, of course is the statement continually repeated by the corrupt and ignorant that both parties are the same.
The GOP represents the Deep State and always has. It is the part of poisoned food, low wages, police surveillance, pollution, private prison, banking scams, soaring medical rip-offs and Pentagon insanity.
