Social media has gone viral on the Internet over recent years, not just because it is a convenient software tool for communication but since it also provides an opportunity for social grouping and integration. Thanks to its unification of the masses presenting opinions, and general perspective on current affairs, social media has become the most important social institution influencing social populism leading to serious social changes.

Americans are angry. I suspected they would be, but it got confirmations of it in Miami, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Minneapolis, New York, and Boston. Basically, everywhere I went while “taking pulse and temperature” of this country where I used to live, cumulatively, for much more than a decade.

A hundred years from now a scraggly little kid in a crumbling old library building in Melbourne will stumble across an interesting book on a dilapidated leather top table. The cover will show a collage of profiles of men and women at podiums. The title will read simply “2020”. The author’s name will be obscured by time and Australia’s tepid climate.

Lying about COVID 19, lies of substance, lies through denial of science, lies through politicization, lies through intentional hoaxes and, inexorably, lies for financial gain are destroying the United States and key nations around the world.
To an extent, the lies are orchestrated, or so intelligence analysts report, but do so behind closed doors only.
Even writing about this can be harrowing as “too much truth” can be fatal.
We thus begin.

Economists will argue for evermore about the best and most effective way to organise a monetary system, both locally and globally. Like the rest of the population, economists come in all shapes and sizes and political hues, so this can be expected.

For Washington, Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei presents a nearly unsolvable problem. We can draw this conclusion by looking at how the US has chosen to compete, or rather, what it is substituting instead for what should be competition.

Both came into the crosshairs of “woke” America. Both fictional characters will now no longer be used.
