Robert Inlakesh reported earlier today the United Nations Human Rights Council has just adopted a resolution condemning Israel of war crimes committed against civilians during recent Gaza demonstrations.
According to Rueters, the UN report found an “apparent intentional use of unlawful lethal and other excessive force” against the protesters.

The second panel demanded accountability for war crimes committed against civilians in Yemen — particularly due to the blockade.
Geneva (GPA) – Geopolitics Alert founder and editor, Randi Nord, participated in two side panels about the humanitarian crisis in Yemen at the United Nations Human Rights Council 39th session during its first week.
In his statement to the council, Saudi ambassador Abdulaziz al-Wasil completely rejected the findings and conclusions of a recent report from a UN group of eminent experts, otherwise known as a GEE report. The GEE report accuses the US-backed Saudi-led coalition of committing multiple violations against civilians in Yemen. The in-depth report highlights several cases of airstrikes deliberately targeting places where civilians were present.
If Washington backed NGOs can’t participate in counter terrorism deliberations and plans, then the US has no use for the UN Counterterrorism Office under those circumstances, and therefore is withdrawing its pledge of $2 million to the Office’s fund.
