Rev. John Pavlovitz was frustrated when he woke up yesterday-- very frustrated.

A new poll for ABC News by Ipsos, isn't indicating that the conventions changed anyone's mind about Trump or Biden. Ipsos concluded that among all all Americans who watched at least some of the GOP convention-- about half of the voters-- responses to the RNC are more negative than the DNC.

Probably everyone has read about Cliff Sim's new book, Team of Vipers by now, thanks in great part to the villain of the book screaming about it so loudly. Trump is sure to help lift Sims' first book into the annals of #1 best-sellerdom. I'm betting it will be made into a film or TV series as well.

I wonder what percentage of his own hard core base-- even the most drug addicted, low IQ Trump worshipping zombies-- believe that.

During his dismal 60 Minutes interview, Señor Trumpanzee hinted strongly that he's going to get rid of "Mad Dog" Mattis after the midterms. Why after? Well, it's not likely to be a popular move and it will remind voters that Trump's dysfunctional regime is as chaotic as it is corrupt. McConnell and Ryan begged him to pretend things are stable until after the election-- for all their sakes.

Frank Schwartz knows Trump far more intimately than almost anyone writing about him-- and he detests him. It's always worthwhile hearing what he has to say about the orange-hued baboon. But while Schwartz was on CNN, Bob Woodward, of Fear fame, was doing his first TV interview since the book came out with CBS News' David Martin. It's impossible to imagine you're following the Trump saga without watching it.
