Ben Stein, reputable professor from, Pepperdine University (also of some Hollywood fame appearing in TV shows and films such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) made some provocative statements on Judge Jeanine Pirro’s show recently. While discussing the halt that was imposed on President Trump’s Executive Order on travel.
What a wimp. Did our future justice break down crying like Sen. Chuck Schumer? Sorry, this is not Antonin Scalia. And just what horrible thing had our president said?
A “so-called judge” blocked the travel ban, said Trump. And the arguments in court, where 9th Circuit appellate judges were hearing the government’s appeal, were “disgraceful.” “A bad student in high school would have understood the arguments better.”
Did the president disparage a couple of judges? Yep.

Today the 9th Circuit Court of appeals has ruled to uphold the halt on allowing enforcement of President Trump’s Executive Order banning travel from seven countries in the Middle East. Even as the mainstream media is touting it as a ‘win’ for left wing activists and the democrats who have their heels dug in against ‘all things Trump,’ many readers will find that it is not much of a surprise to hear that the case will be headed to a further round of appeals.
Back in October, after the British magazine The Economist published an edition with a grotesquely hideous cover picture of Vladimir Putin, I wrote that The Economist had disgraced Britain and itself.
I am sorry to say that the cover of Der Spiegel’s latest edition – showing Donald Trump beheading the Statue of Liberty – is as deplorable and wrong.

President Trump’s Executive Order: Protecting the Nation From Foreign Terrorist Entry Into the US, is under fire in the American legal system. The American Civil Liberties Union and multiple US State Attorney Generals are filing law suits against the Federal Government… lots of law suits.
Critics of the ban are calling it a partial victory.
