While staring down the barrel of potential tariffs on autos being levied by the Trump administration, the Mexicans are considering their options.
One of those happens to be a retaliatory tariff on American grown soybeans and corn.
Mexico has been researching other suppliers from which to purchase these goods as well in order to dampen any negative impact on the Mexican economy that these tariffs might pose.
The G7 provided much drama and fallout, as Trump trolled the conference from beginning to end, calling out the “meek” and “weak” Presidents, Prime Ministers and Chancellors of France, Germany and host nation Canada, while the US President once again pressed his “America first” policy to the shock and fear of the G6 leaders.

The US has broken yet another agreement, this time its agreement not to impose trade tariffs on China.
The decision to employ further tariffs right after abating the escalating situation that was brewing between the US isn’t the most tactful and wise decision to make.
It inevitably means a response by China, to be perceived as a violation of America’s agreement together with countermeasure tariffs imposed by China on US exports.

Several congressional Republicans bitch and moan when Señor Trumpanzee does something outrageous or dangerous-- but never work it up enough to actually vote against him. Rand Paul R-KY), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Ben Sasse (R-NE), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Cory Gardner (R-CO), Mike Lee (R-UT) and Little Marco (R-FL) are the first to come to mind. The question is often related to national security-- as is Rubio's tweet above.
