Last week’s elections in the United Kingdom were a fiasco for Prime Minister Theresa May, whose Conservative Party lost 12 seats in Parliament, weakening the government just ahead of crucial negotiations on the U.K.’s exit from the European Union. The elections had been called by May with the hope of an opposite outcome; the goal was to take advantage of the Tories’ strong lead in the polls to strengthen the Conservative majority and increase May’s power.

LONDON FIRE: One man vs mainstream media elites

Tensions continue to flare as a ashes of a massive fire in a residential tower continue to smoulder in London.
The deeply unpopular UK Prime Minister Theresa May has faced heavy criticism for refusing to speak with displaced people and angry locals at the scene of the blaze which police are now investigating as a criminal act.
By contrast, opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn who may well become Prime Minister sooner than many had predicted, spent time talking with and comforting people.

THERESA MAY: hated by the far-left, far-right and almost everyone else

When one aspires to be an allegedly conservative politician like Theresa May, a woman with a well known reputation as being “difficult” according to colleagues, one would think such a person would win praise from the right-wing social commentator Katie Hopkins.
Hopkins is sort of a female Milo Yiannopoulos who doesn’t know a great deal about Islam but she sure knows she doesn’t like it. For all she is and is not, many people in Britain do listen to her and like her. She should not be censored, even for those like me who despise what she says about one of a great religion.

Teasing Theresa: The EU, Brexit And The British Elections

It took little time for political leaders in the European Union to start dangling the carrot in front of a wounded British Prime Minister.  Theresa May’s defeated victory in the British general elections had barely sunk it, and the comments, even invitations, were being issued by various European leaders. This all lies in the interpretation of the British election result. [Read More...]

Britain’s Conservatives are wrong to stick with Theresa May

Still shell-shocked by an election result they never expected Britain’s Conservatives are doing everything they can to ensure Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party wins the next election by a landslide.
The election left Britain’s Conservatives seven seats short of a majority in the British Parliament, but still the biggest party, with the biggest share of the vote (42.5% to Labour’s 40%) and the largest number of seats (318 to Labour’s 262).

May’s Pact with the Devil

Former Conservative Chancellor George Osborne, now editor of the London Evening Standard, calls Theresa May “dead woman walking”. Another former minister Anna Soubry says: “She is in a desperate position. It is untenable….”, while according to former Education Secretary Nicky Morgan she cannot lead us into another election and a leadership challenge is possible during the summer.

Beware the Poisoned Chalice

Unsurprisingly, Jeremy Corbyn is walking around with a permanent grin on his face. He is rightly delighted with the achievement of the Labour Party in Britain’s recent general election. Given the two years of relentless abuse and ridicule that’s been heaped upon him by the mainstream media, together with the appalling treachery of most of his fellow Labour MPs who tried, but failed miserably, to oust him as leader, the result of the June 8 ballot was a ringing endorsement and validation of his remarkable accomplishment.

REVERSE BREXIT? Macron Signals to May That UK Can Remain in the EU

21st Century Wire says…
If you are paying attention, you will see more and more stories positioned by the mainstream media steering the public away from a ‘Hard BREXIT’ and reminding people that, ‘the public mood has changed since the referendum,’ and that ‘maybe it’s easier for Britain to just stay in the EU.’

BRITAIN ON FIRE: 6 dead, opposition activists call for May’s resignation

Multiple casualties have been reported after high-rise housing for the poor is gutted by flame near central London. Such incidents have become increasingly typical as the once powerful regime of British leader Theresa May refuses to step aside amid growing calls from opposition leaders for peaceful regime change.
The Kensington region in Britain’s capital, is known for a vast disparity in wealth which has galvanised local rebels who support the opposition.
