Iran Claims Saudi Arabia is Behind Tehran Attacks After ISIS Takes Credit

In the first ISIS terror attack on Iran, 12 people were killed in Tehran overnight.

(MEE) — Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) pointed the finger at Saudi Arabia for twin attacks on Iran’s parliament and the Mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini on Wednesday morning which left 12 people dead.
The attacks, which took place a few kilometres south of the capital, were the first in the country to be claimed by the Islamic State group.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for attacks on both the Iranian Parliament and Ayatollah Khomeini’s mausoleum, Amaq news agency, which is affiliated with the group has announced.
Wednesday’s attacks in Tehran mark the fourth major terror strike worldwide claimed by ISIS since the beginning of Ramadan.

Iran’s Parliament (Majlis) and the Mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini in the capital Tehran have come under armed attack, for which ISIS now claims responsibility.
At least four gunmen have reportedly intruded into the premises of the Majlis, opening fire on the security guards there.
According to Tasnim news agency, at least eight people have been injured in the shooting attack on Wednesday.

At least two people have died and many more injured after gunmen randomly opened fire inside the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) on Wednesday morning. This was followed by a suicide attack by one of the terrorists inside the Iranian Parliament building.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. If the claim is true it would make today’s atrocity the first ISIS attack inside Iran.
