Two Million Syrian Christian Population Being Exterminated by ISIL

Since the terrorists have swept the secularists aside, Christian Syrians–long protected by Assad—are now being “disappeared” by the millions.  By the millions!  Of the 1.8 million Christians that lived peacefully under Assad before the Arab Spring, only 400,000 Christians still live in intact communities in Syria today. The rest are either dead or fled–we know not where.

After presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson called the Syrians refugees rabid dogs, Father Theodoros Daoud , an Antiochian Orthodox Christian priest sends him this letter:
 
Dear rabid dog Dr. Ben Carson,
I hope this word will not offend you, doctor. If it does, I don’t care because you have offended each one of the 9 million Syrian refugees by calling them rabid dogs. You, along with every politician who caused Syria—the land of Saint Peter and Paul, the Apostles and the saints—to bleed to death, are evil rabid dogs.

A Daesh victory was unacceptable for the Russians as the traditional custodians of Syrian Christians, for Daesh is very bad for Christians. Some were slaughtered and some had to flee. From this point of view, al Qaeda, al Nusra and similar extreme groups are not better.
