When Dickinson Grammar School, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, was charted as a college it was a week after the official formation of the United States in 1783. It's founders signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The student newspaper, The Dickinsonian was founded in 1872.

Decry Hamas, if you wish. But don't say that Israel has the right to deny Palestinians their rightsbecause they elected a government you don't like. That's been Israel's and its allies' convenient and complicit excuse in the whole, posturing 'peace process'. Stephen Fry's words only give sustenance to that duplicitous pretext.
Although Stephen Fry is best known in the U.S. for his role as Melchett in Blackadder and as Gordon Deitrich in V For Vendetta, in the U.K. he's a major celebrity-- an actor, screenwriter, director, author, playwright, journalist, comedian, television and radio personality and... an activist. He's also gay.
