Opposition to Highly Radioactive Liquid Shipments Continues

Modern ghost towns, abandoned houses, and far stretching roads lined with plastic bags of radioactive garbage have replaced the once bustling neighborhoods and cities of the Fukushima Prefecture. Formerly home to thousands, the massive release of radiation has forced residents to evacuate their beautiful homeland, leaving the land they love behind without knowing whether or not they may ever return without putting their lives at risk.

A 2.206 petition was submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) seeking action on the part of the NRC to either enforce existing regulations for atomic power plants or shut them down. This petition was submitted by seven electrical engineers employed by the NRC. These brave seven submitted the "put up or shut down" petition as private citizens.

Marie Granmar, Charles Sacilotto and their young son invited Fair Companies to their “Naturhus” (or Nature House), their environmentally friendly house located just outside of Stockholm Sweden that's surrounded by 4-millimeter panes of glass. Withstanding average January temperatures around 27 degrees Fahrenheit, this house-within-a-greenhouse is kept warm by the sun throughout the day with residual heat stored in the bedrock below the house for cold winter nights. Rainwater is collected for household needs as well as for watering plants, and kitchen and garden waste is composted.
