(ANTIMEDIA) — Renowned investigative journalist Seymour Hersh reports that President Trump launched tomahawk missiles at the Syrian military in April after ignoring warnings from U.S. intelligence that there was no evidence Assad’s government was to blame for the chemical attack on his own citizens two days prior.

Never one to accept the U.S. government’s official explanation of events without question, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh has investigated Donald Trump’s decision to strike the al-Shayat Airbase in Syria in April of this year, which the president launched amid widespread allegations that the Syrian government committed a chemical weapons attack.
The veteran US investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has produced an excoriating exposure of the alleged Khan Sheikhoun chemical in April, which led to the US cruise missile attack on Syria’s Al-Shayrat air base.
The exposure has been published by the German publication Welt. So far it has not been published in any US or British publication. The London Review of Books paid for a copy but in the event declined to publish it. So far I have seen no allusions to it in any British newspaper.

By denying him the credibility of a “respectable” mainstream platform, he can be dismissed for the first time in his career as a crank and charlatan. A purveyor of fake news.
