(MEE) Washington has agreed to arms deals with Saudi Arabia worth almost $110bn on Saturday, the first day of President Donald Trump’s visit to the traditional US ally, with options for as much as $350bn over 10 years.
Trump hailed the $110bn deal for Saudi purchases of US defence equipment and services, which was reached during meetings in Riyadh.
Today The Duran reported on the Lavrov – Tillerson meeting here and here, amidst the backdrop of a James Comey firing, which sent the liberal left and neocon right into hysterical “Russian hacking” conspiracy overdrive.
As the visit of Russia’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov to Washington proceeds, it’s become clear that the American mainstream media is mostly unconcerned with any of the foreign policy implications of his visit.
An improvement in US-Russian relations, which has consistently been advocated by US President Donald Trump since the beginning of his campaign (and long before) would be an achievement which would increase peace and stability around the world.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov explained in an interview with the Mir channel why NATO decided to send relations with Moscow into the abyss…and it all had to do with the US Ukraine coup which failed to overtake the entire country including Crimea.
Lavrov said…
“NATO became bitter that its project aimed at bringing the entire Ukraine into its sphere of influence, making Ukraine part of the North Atlantic Alliance and using Crimea to encircle Russia fell through.”
More reasons to believe that the Idlib chemical weapons attack was indeed a false flag, for which the US, UK, France (and many western powers) are trying to cover up.

(ZHE) The U.S. Air Force scrambled two F-22 stealth fighters on Monday night to intercept a pair of Russian nuclear-capable bombers which came as close as 100 miles from Alaska’s Kodiak Island, Fox reports. This was the first time since President Trump took office that Moscow has sent bombers so close to the U.S.
Not so long ago, using the term “false flag” immediately marked you as a “conspiracy theorist,” – basically a nutcase not in touch with reality. Supposedly.
In case anybody still doesn’t know, a “false flag [attack/event]” is an incident perpetrated by one party (usually a state) either against itself or someone else, while making it appear that a third party is to blame.

Three years ago, Syria was declared free of chemical weapons under an agreement proposed by Russia which forestalled an expected attack on Syria led by the United States.
This came after a massive propaganda campaign in western media alleging a devastating sarin gas attack near Ghouta, Syria, which is reported to have killed thousands. The attack was blamed on Syrian president Assad, with the small amount of substantiating evidence provided by Israel.
