Before he shot the driver, the robber stole multiple packages from the FedEx truck, and he was later found unconscious in an alley clutching the packages he had stolen.

Democrats took control of both chambers of the state legislature only weeks ago and are pushing gun control legislation, universal background checks, an “assault weapons” ban, and a red-flag law. In response, gun owners joined with their sheriffs in more than 75 counties and formed Second-Amendment sanctuary counties.

Donnelly claimed the posts, including fantasies of hurting women, were jokes meant for his friends. He has no criminal record, and his lawyer described the weapons seizure as an intrusion on both his First Amendment and Second Amendment rights.

The court’s decision allowd plaintiffs to go after the gun manufacturer, claiming the weapons were marketed and advertised as "military-style" arms to civilians to kill their enemies. This could lead to the end of the manufacture of guns.

Four Rhode Island towns, Burrillville, Hopkinton, West Greenwich, and Foster, declared themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries. Two months ago, a similar policy was passed in 25 of New Mexico’s 33 counties as they also adopted Second Amendment Sanctuary status.

Reuters reported on Thursday, March 21 that the Prime Minister of New Zealand enacted a sweeping change, banning weapons of the type that were used in the massacre of at least fifty Muslims, who were gunned down on livestream while in Friday prayer services in Christchurch last week. We quote from the Reuters piece below, with added emphasis:

The goal of the lawsuit is to shut down gun manufacturers by making them liable for individuals' actions. While the plaintiffs will have extreme difficultly in proving their case, pre-trial discovery that will include Bushmaster's internal communications could be harmful to the company.
