On August 25 this year, the Ukrainian website Cerkvarium, whose Director Dmitry Gorevoy said after last year’s visit of Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria to Ukraine that the Primate of the Patriarchate of Alexandria came for a bribe, once again attempted to prove that “ordinations” of the so-called “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” hierarchs who came from the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC) are canonical.

The Orthodox Holy Synod convened under the presidency of the honorable “Patriarch” on June 20th, and removed the administration of the Metropolis of Kiev and handed it to Metropolitan Epiphanius.

A new term we are going to start hearing about in the era of re-nationalization is spiritual security. Like national security protects a nation against political threats, spiritual security is intended to protect the nation against spiritual threats, such as globalism’s secular tyranny. Russia is showing one of the most visible examples of the establishment of spiritual security, as the nation increasing aligns herself as an Orthodox Christian nation.

The Synod of the Georgian Orthodox Church is about to convene in next few days. A group of hierarchs allegedly led by Metropolitan Daniel of Chiatura and Sachkhere is up to discuss the recognition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), which was established in Kyiv in December 2018, and received autocephalous status from the Ecumenical Patriarch.

Dr Steve Turley gave us a lift a few days ago when he discussed the World Congress of Families that has been in process in Verona over the last several days. At the center of interest for many people there is Verona’s mayor, Matteo Salvini. Seen by the mainstream press of the world as “far-right”, Mr. Salvini is really a traditionalist in the style of Donald Trump, Ronald Reagan, and some might say, Vladimir Putin (if they know him in reality, that is).

CNN wasted no time in branding Christians and pro-traditional family supporters as a hate group:

We dare not even call this an Orthodox Church. It is a thinly-veiled masquerade. But it looks like an Orthodox Church, and the services sound like Orthodox Services. But, wait. They wish to be (not like Christ, but) like Europe, and become “open” to LGBT -Qrstuvwyz12345… people? So says the false First Hierarch, “Metropolitan Epiphany” when he was called by prank callers. He didn’t know that the callers were pranksters but it didn’t stop him from letting the world know the big plans for Ukraine.

The most serious schism within the Eastern Orthodox Church since the Great Schism of 1054 continues this year, with the excommunication of the Constantinople Patriarch, Bartholomew I, following his “rehabilitation” of two schismatic hierarchs on October 11th of this year. The local Orthodox Churches already had a reaction before this ever happened, and that response has largely deepened now.

The pressure in Ukraine kept ratcheting up over the last few days, with a big revelation today that Patriarch Bartholomew now considers Metropolitan Onuphy “uncanonical.” This news was published on 6 December by a hierarch of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (running under the Moscow Patriarchate).
This assessment marks a complete 180-degree turn by the leader of the Orthodox Patriarchate of Constantinople, and it further embitters the split that has developed to quite a major row between this church’s leadership and the Moscow Patriarchate.

When Patriarch Bartholomew lifted the anathemas on Filaret Denisenko and Makary and pledged his efforts to create an autocephalous (independent) Orthodox Church in Ukraine, he boldly proclaimed that everyone would go along with his decision.
