Russia in the World

The plans for the mass acquisition of Russia’s most advanced anti-aircraft defensive systems, S-400 and S-500, being made in the East have caused widespread panic in the West. As a matter of fact, the list of Middle Eastern and Asian states standing in line for these systems is exceeding long and growing.

Recently, the OPEC countries and Russia (note: OPEC+) have agreed to increase oil output to a million barrels per day.

Eurasian integration and developing relations with Asian countries are important items on Russia’s present-day political agenda.  One of the platforms for moving forward on these issues is the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU or EEU), which includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
