Reports that German intelligence has been unable to find any evidence of Russian interference in German politics comes as no surprise.
It has become an article of faith on the part of establishment politicians and commentators in the West that the Russian government (always referred to as “the Kremlin”) is manipulating from behind the scenes the political processes in Western countries.
RT’s Caleb Maupin recently conducted a social experiment where he took his camera out on the streets of New York to see the American reaction to fake news that Russia had just invaded a fake country called Kyrgbekistan.
Whereas in many social experiments many Americans are often honest about their lack of knowledge of countries which do exist, here, a seemingly equal proportion were willing to confirm their support for a country which does not.
Readers of The Duran may recall that back in October the British bank NatWest announced that it was withdrawing banking services to RT’s London branch. At the time there was widespread speculation – and in the British media a great deal of gloating – that RT’s London branch might be forced to close.

CBS has run a factually false and philosophically inane hit piece on RT.
Writing under the headline, “Vladimir Putin’s English-language international mouthpiece”, I knew the story wasn’t going to be anything but more of the same asinine absurdities I have heard time after time.
I wasn’t disappointed.
First of all, Vladimir Putin has no more to do with RT than Queen Elizabeth II has to do with British state-owned broadcaster, BBC.

CNN have hit a new low. They have gone from a pro-Clinton mouthpiece to a fake news stalwart, and now they have devolved into a vulgar conspiracy minded ‘piece of garbage’.

(REPORT) — Facebook has blocked RT, the Kremlin-backed English news outlet formerly known as Russia Today, from posting videos, photos and news articles until the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The ban was enacted after a copyright complaint about a video stream of Barack Obama’s press conference on RT’s Facebook page on Wednesday.
For a long time, people have feared the worst in respect to Facebook censoring real news outlets, whose editorial line broadly goes against the neo-liberal status quo of the western fake stream media.
Today, RT confirmed that a Facebook ‘bot’ sent RT’s Facebook page admins a message saying that they will not be allowed to post, “photos, video or shared content”.
This essentially takes RT ‘off air’ for Facebook users. The ban is set to expire Saturday morning, Moscow time, the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration.
