Porkins on The Ochelli Effect

I recently joined good friend Chuck Ochelli for the first hour of this Friday show. We discussed the most recent Trump media shit show, mainly exploring the “scandal” over whether or not CNN blackmailed a Reddit user. Chuck and I talked about the strange symbiotic role that the alt-media and the right wing has with outlets such as CNN. I also talk about Alan Dershowitz’s latest transformation and how he has emerged from the shadows of scandal and Jeffrey Epstein with the help of his minion Mike Cernovich.

From Reagan and Gorbachev to Trump and Putin

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson recently said that “Right now, U.S.-Russia relations are in the gutter but we want to make sure they don’t flush into the sewer.”
I think that what we see is much worse if one adds the current conflict escalation in Syria, NATO advancement of troops to the Russian borders, frequent near collisions of U.S. and Russian planes over the Baltic and Black seas, plus non-stop anti-Russia hysteria in Congress and the media.

Russian Perspectives on US-Russian Relations

I am in Russia for two weeks with a delegation of 30 Americans organized by the Center for Citizen Initiatives. We have had informative meetings with numerous people but the following two were especially interesting and relevant to international politics: Vladimir Kozin, member of the Russian Academy of Military Science, and Mikhael Gorbachev, former President of the Soviet Union.

5 different wings of the GOP

The Congressional leadership of the Republican party reminds me of a gang of suicidal men whose every attempt to do the deed fails because the single local bridge is only a metre off the ground. Adding to this is a Democratic party whose every public implosion, inadequacy and lack of originality is the proverbial net that keeps the otherwise useless Republicans on electoral life support.
