For almost three weeks now,mass protests have been taking place in Belarus.
On August 9, opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya announced the falsification of the results by Alexander Lukashenko. After that, the people began to massively express dissatisfaction and call for a resignation of the current president.
During the protests, Tikhanovskaya, who is in Lithuania now, held a series of negotiations with prominent political figures. But among them I would like to highlight the last week’s meeting with the French political journalist Bernard-Henri Lévy.

The Police Officers Guild president said that this act shows that the leftists are intent on killing police officers and that the city is being held hostage by 100 to 150 people that are bent on destroying the city.

CNN anchor Don Lemon is warning Democrats that they’ll face consequences on election day for ignoring rioting across the country and that the riots must stop. He then suggested that Joe Biden could address police reform and blame the riots on Trump by saying it is happening under his watch.

A black man, who had reportedly killed someone earlier in the day, shot himself in the head in an incident that had nothing whatsoever to do with police brutality. However, hundreds of people rioted anyway.

Someone threw a plastic bottle filled with concrete at the man, causing him to fall to the ground and break his jaw in two places. The man was released from the hospital, but will have to undergo surgery to put two removable plates in place and wire his jaw shut.

Militias are now making their way to the area and called for all armed citizens to join them and help protect lives and property from the mobs.

Video shows that Jacob Blake struggled with officers before the shooting and resisted arrest. Authorities are not revealing whether Blake was armed. Hundreds of rioters tore up businesses and started fires.

A death of just one single man can, under certain dreadful circumstances, put into motion the entire avalanche of events. It can smash the whole regime into pieces. It can fully rewrite history, and even change the identity of a nation. It can… although it not always does.

The Internet is flooded with footages of protests in Belarus. Most of each shows how security officials are grabbing “civilians”. There are other shots that no one paid attention to. Draw your own conclusions…
