Monday there was a big buzz over Alex Isenstadt's Obama Republicans? post in Politico. The premise is that the new Congress will include 26 Members from districts that Obama won in 2012 and another 47 from districts Obama nearly won, many of which are absolutely Hillary Clinton territory.

A reindeer farmer and Santa Claus actor tainted with some crooked business dealings, Bentivolio became an accidental congressman when his predecessor, Thaddeus McCotter was busted in an electoral fraud case and was forced to resign from Congress and end his campaign for another term.

A right-wing propaganda site reported Thursday that Mike Huckabee fears the Republican Party is getting too liberal. In poll after poll, the vast majority of normal Americans think the Republican Party has drifted way too far to the right. But Huckabee is now whining publicly about starting a third, more reactionary political party.
