Patriarch Kirill: Without God, family, traditions, everything collapses [Video]

Russia is making the move to deeply embrace its one thousand year past, uniting today’s modern state with the Empire of the Tsars and even showing how the Soviet Union has its unique place in history which must be remembered. In a four-minute video, we see Patriarch Kirill sign his ballot for the Constitutional referendum, and give an explanation for the actions he sees the country must take.

A Mined History: The Bougainville Referendum

It would be an understatement to claim that Bougainville, that blighted piece of autonomous territory in Papua New Guinea, had been through a lot.  Companies have preyed upon its environment with extractive hunger.  Wars and civil strife have beset its infrastructure and economy.  Some 900 kilometres from the PNG mainland, it has been what might be described as “a reluctant part” of that political compact, indigenously separate and stubborn.

Le challenge reste encore est énorme mais néanmoins crucial : pour qu’un référendum soit organisé sur la privatisation d’ADP, 4 717 396 signatures doivent être réunies d’ici mars 2020.

Ce 13 juin 2019, à 00:01, le gouvernement français a ouvert la pétition en ligne visant à réclamer la tenue d’un Référendum sur la privatisation des Aéroports de Paris.
Le challenge est énorme mais crucial : il faut réunir 4,7 millions de signatures en 9 mois.
Chaque citoyen français inscrit sur les listes électorales a donc la possibilité de signer cette pétition pour réclamer un référendum sur la question (qu’il soit pour ou contre cette privatisation).

Crimean people would gladly vote to join Russia again, polls show [Video]

On March 16, 2014, Crimea held a referendum election on the question of rejoining the Russian Federation and seceding from Ukraine. The vote passed by an enormous margin, nearly 97% of the voters saying they wished to rejoin Russia. That number was amplified by the 83.1% voter turnout. Clearly this was a very pressing matter for the Crimean people.

Nick Boles, an MP previously loyal to Britain’s Tory party, recently made himself very unpopular with his own constituency activists. Why? Because he dared to state that he would not support any move that might result in Britain quitting the European Union without a deal. In a recent column in his local newspaper he listed several points that explain his position concerning the disastrous Brexit fiasco.
