(ANTIMEDIA) Whether or not the U.S. has any leverage over what is currently unfolding in Syria has become increasingly unclear in the last couple of weeks.

(ANTIMEDIA) In November 2015, the Turkish government shot down a Russian plane on the Syrian border in response to Russia’s targeting of ISIS oil tankers heading for Turkey. The official explanation was that Russia had violated Turkish airspace for a mere 17 seconds.

US-NATO is not prepared to let go in Syria.  

Most of the weapons ISIS used were from the US , with some ammunition from Israel. ISIS had US Hummers, spinning explosive projectiles and military rations from the US, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
