The Liberal obsession with shutting down everything in the name of political correctness is undoubtedly insane, but now that the ideology has been poison-tipped with a not-so-deadly virus, America is becoming an increasingly unrecognizable, uninhabitable place.
It’s not every day when a grown man drops heavy tears onto his keyboard in an unexpected wave of emotion; it’s even rarer when he admits to it. But it happened this week.

We’re now emerging from an intense period of racial justice protests that began after the killing of George Floyd. It was exhilarating and pride-inspiring to witness the multitudes in the Lehigh Valley (Pa) who “took it to the streets” on behalf of racial equality, especially the waves of Black and white young people. According to the Pew Research Center, some 15 million adults participated in the protests which makes it the largest movement in American history.

If the Portland Police decide they need to start killing protesters, the mayor has just justified it in advance.

The results of the 2020 presidential elections in Belarus have forced some Belarusians to take to streets of cities to hold protests. Svetlana Tikhanovskaya was one of the main figures who attracted the attention of voters in Belarus.
She registered as an Independent candidate on 14 July 2020. She was endorsed by the campaigns of Viktar Babaryka and Valery Tsepkalo, two prominent alternative politicians who were barred from registering, with one being arrested for corruption and the other fled to Poland.

Bolivia is heading for a showdown between the government and the people after nearly two weeks of continuous, nationwide protests have paralyzed the country. Demonstrations have grown day on day after the government — who came to power in a U.S.-baked coup last November — postponed the elections for the third time. Ollie Vargas, a journalist who witnessed the events firsthand, shared his experiences with MintPress:

Belarus is in turmoil, after an election where the incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko – 25 years already in power (in office since 1994) – has won with 80% of the popular vote. Sometimes the news cycle and the geo-political cycle simply part company. This is one such occasion – the devastation of Beirut Port. What happened there is destined to constitute a major geo-political event – whatever way its sequellae should cascade out and shape the future. There are good, historic reasons for this parting of the ways: One (which explains the regional silence), is that we have not yet had the forensics. Protests against Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, have raged on for weeks, turning violent sometimes. Israelis are furious at their government’s mediocre response to the coronavirus pandemic, especially as COVID-19 disease is experiencing a massive surge throughout the country.

On Sunday a demonstration is planned in Montréal against the Canada Israel Free Trade Agreement (CIFTA). Under the banner “Against Israel’s annexation of the Jordan Valley. No to the Canada Israel Free Trade Agreement!”, the march is seeking to politicize CIFTA amidst Israel’s plan to formally annex parts of the West Bank.
